Next gen 2019/2020 Porsche 992 rear end caught completely undisguised
This image leaked out from a garage showing what appears to be the undisguised rear end of the upcoming 992 generation Porsche 911. Based on previous covered up spy photos this seems to be the back of the 911 Carrera S.
The image was since deleted from the social media account that posted it which means this is likely legitimate.
The 992 is shaping up well.

I like it too. It’s crazy that they went away from the center PSE tailpipes in 1/2 a generation. Too bad, I really liked that look.

Really looks good. Wifee says it looks a lot like the augmented/virtual reality focus study groups that Porsche has had her participating in.

Haven't seen a single spyshot of a 2wd body yet... are they eliminating the C2 body variant?
Clean sided c2 / vs side skirt insert c4? .
While you cant see the sides here, it has the same light bar across the tail as all the other shots / and the current 991 C4s
Not liking the body of it yet.
Nor the digital dash and center console merge,
nor deletion of shift lever to a shift toggle button
... nor the rear bumper ...

That is hideous.
That bumper is a billboard.
Taillights look like they are off a Dart.
Diffuser thing at the bottom of the rear window looks like a George Foreman grill.
I really hope they dont ruin Porsche with this design.

Dunno... I'm not digging it neither. Looks like a small spaceship. Maybe I need more caffeine.

Im not saying its some revolutionary amazing design from one crappy picture of the rear end from a weird angle...
But I guarantee it will eventually grow on people and it will looks just fine...just like every other 911 redesign.
Even some of the 996's look decent (widebody and non-runny egg headlights).

I feel you are the guy trying to be funny here. Im stating my opinion on what it looks like to me.
Its ugly. Bumper is too large, taillights look weird, window looks funny.
Better?
It doesnt take a "Porsche snob" to notice this.
Also throwing around the word stereotype doesnt make your comment any more witty.

Oh man, you got me! I thought the word stereotype was the wittiest thing in the whole world!
And the proportions looking "weird" to you DEFINITELY couldn't have anything to do with the weird angle this $#@!ty leaked picture was taken at...totally not.
This is basically the official press shot and you can definitively say that the car will be ugly and will be a complete failure. Shame on you Porsche!

Did you help design it? No? Then why are you getting so bent out of shape from my opinion?
I didnt say it will be a complete failure. It will do great like most Porsche do. The performance will be top notch.
But it will still have an ugly rear end. Changing the angle of the photo wont change that. Front might save it a bit, wont know till later.
