F80 M3 runs 10's on pump gas with a PTF Bootmod3 OTS Stage 2 S55 flash and bolt ons - 10.9@126
The F80 M3 and F82 M4 platform is in the 10's on pump gas and street tires. It was only a matter of time really and just waiting for winter and the strips on the East Coast to open. MIR (Maryland International Raceway) is one of the top spots in the nation to get some negative DA (Density Altitude) going.
Negative DA it was with -345 feet. If you are on the West Coast or anywhere other than the Northeast it is perfectly fine to feel jealous.
Here are the mods:
For perspective, a VF tune only F82 M4 ran 11.0 @ 126 at MIR earlier this month but without any bolt ons. The temps start to drop and so do the times!
If the owner goes to race fuel and drag rubber he can definitely improve on this result. He shouldn't be laughing at VF only holding the record for days though. In a few days he might be on the receiving end.

Nice job!!! Can't wait to see just how far the stock turbos can be pushed. Is a 10.5 on DR's and race gas possible? Seems like it may be.

maybe I'm out of line, this is a great time dont get me wrong, but I expected more from the S55 platform on stock turbo's in terms of trap speeds? Are the stock turbo's that limiting? Or maybe my expectations are set too high for stock turbo's?

I think the stock turbos are a bit limiting. When you look at a dyno graph from a stock turbo S55, there is a big dropoff in power in the upper RPM's (which is typical of a lot of stock turbo vehicles). There are some guys pushing 130 MPH trap speeds on the stock turbos, but they have to use a lot of octane to do it.

actually now that you mentioned the octane, I take that back. on straight 93 pump, that is pretty nice! I missed that part when I ran through the mods/set-up.

That was pretty much our reaction as well, but more importantly,
noting that our record was clearly on Stage ONE software and
listed as having "no other power modifications".
I'm just not sure how many people would really be laughing if
they had spent approx. $5,500 to only run .08 (yes, 8/100ths)
of a second faster than a HEX Tuning Stage ONE car!
Note: Chasing records has never been our thing as we are
primarily focused on consistent and usable power, which
typically doesn't win "dyno shootouts" or set drag records.
I really feel like we just happened to find an equilibrium for
making more than only modest power, and doing so in a way
that makes for a quick car. I have no doubt that there will
be quicker times coming this winter on stock turbos, and it
may not even be from us.
Once you start pushing these stock turbos too hard, there
will be a point of diminishing returns which may be more
power with slower times -or- quicker times but with unhappy
turbos/motor.

As we stated above in a previous post, our intention has never been to
go chasing records as that goes against the philosophy of our product.
If a customers car does particularly well and they send us the results,
by all means, we're proud to share them.
Once you start pushing the limits of your product to generate a nicer
dyno lot, or adding boost/timing to go from 11.00 to 10.9x, you're
compromising the integrity of the product.
Personally, I think it's just a matter of time before our customers
decide whether they will be upgrading and then heading back out
to the track. For the record though (no pun intended) you're talking
about a difference of 8/100 of a second between their Stg2 record
and our Stage ONE, tune-only record. I know which car I'd rather
own and drive and keep the extra cash in my pocket for track days
or a nice vacation!
