Article: Chevrolet teases the 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 (750 hp expected) which will be revealed in four days - 11-12-2017

It's almost here. The long anticipated king of the Corvette lineup, the 2019 ZR1, will be revealed in just a few days. What do we know about it? We know it is going to look amazing with heavy downforce and that an LT5 motor with a larger blower will be utilized.

An Eaton TVS R2650 is expected which is almost a liter larger than the C7 Z06 LT4 unit. Good, Chevrolet made a mistake with the 1.74 liter TVS on the Z06.

The new car should have much more top end punch and hopefully will have an easier time putting the power down.

We'll know everything on 11-12-2017. Enjoy the teaser video for now.

Just north of $120k? Well, now this is the best performance bargain on the market.

Dual injected motor, too. Should be a fun one for tuners.

That's really the biggest difference in my view.

Everything else is Z06 on steroids but the new crank and dual injection is huge.

They didn't specify which supercharger but I'm guessing it is the one reported earlier.

~2.6l... should be knocking on 150mph traps with basic bolt-ons. I'm a little disappointed it is going to tip the scales in the 3,700lb ball park, though. Thats pretty damn porky for a two seater, but we can call it Hellcat power levels, and then some, at a 700lb discount.

Maybe GM will be nice and give us a crate motor in the next year or so Click here to enlarge

Yeah extra 150 lbs sucks plus it's all on the nose.

Looks like they have to limit torque in the first few gears to even get it to put power down.
