These are the last of the production run with no further parts planned at this stage.
This is the ultimate upgrade for these transmissions.

    Parts include

    - billet input shaft

-billet intermediate shaft with larger billet E clutch basket to accommodate more frictions for increased torque handling

-Billet 2nd gear basket on modified drum to also accomodate more frictions for increased torque handling

    For pricing.
Something to consider for those with AT's contemplating upgrades or trans swaps.

I haven't been keeping up, what's the reason they don't make these anymore?

XHP's control and ability is overblown. If it could do what was necessary they would be using it.

Seems like a big risk with no software to help. How long will it last before it slips?

I agree with Zombie1 on this. If the kits are cheap enough, someone will buy them. I think with no software support, it's pretty risky.

    Who knows.

Manual swap is safest bet. Then there is DCT swap as well but obviously more expensive.

The input shaft is $1995. The intermediate shaft is $1995. and the basket is $595. Almost $4600. for everything unless they have a package deal now. That's about the cost of a fully rebuilt transmission. That alone would kill production

overblown in what way? it should be able to do everything that's needed, as long as you have or can find the tables it can do it..?

i'm more thinking they would have rather have a more proprietary tuning solution and they may not like xHP being so accessible?

xHP is not fully control of the TCU. Not even close.

Like I said, if it worked they would be using it.

Has xhp even been out for a year yet! Seriously are they expected to have full control of the TCU already?? The n54 has been out since 2006 do we have full control of the DME YET? Are XHP a paying member here?

    in what way isn't it?

while yeah of course not all the tables have been discovered/defined, it's just as powerful as MHD in its own right, it's custom maps flashed to the TCU not like alpina that's just an OEM signed map.

nizpro would have been able to easily do their own table discovery if it's not in the default definitions with xHP and do everything they could possibly want/need to.

The only thing that matters for the TCU software is if xhp can increase line pressure for stronger clamping force. I have yet to see anyone or any third party testing for that matter prove this. Just bunch of “hey do my shifts are wicked fast and hard”.

Increasing line pressure can already be done and has, which lead to shafts breaking.

Please show link, also if this has been done what’s the problem? Why wouldn’t the stock shafts break? We are trying to literally put more then 3 times the stock RWHP to the ground in some builds. Listen I want a solution for the auto’s for the n54, honestly a joke it hasn’t been done at this point. These cars came out over a decade ago I’ve just lost all hope in a “real” auto solution that’s all.

Talk to Jason (Aubeast) from Propulsive Dynamics. He has extensive data on this and pics of broken (stock) input shaft. I know its in one of the propulsive dynamics threads somewhere. The TCU programming they do on their transmissions increases line pressure amongst other things.

I don't expect them to have full control or anything like that. I'm sure development will continue.

If they had full control, there wouldn't be any issue for Nizpro.

Is anyone aware that this same transmission is in the Australian Ford Falcon, I believe the FG series type. All tables are there for this vehicle... just my daily 2 cents...

Falcon uses the HP28..a larger country cousin to the HP21. Nizpro build wicked strong HP28's and all the tech was used in the HP21 they developed.

And its been said on this forum before, Nizpro had the dirty done on them by the programmer. That programmer took the solution elsewhere...and you can read into that what you will.

They solved the strength issues with the HP21 (according to them) and they are off on more profitable pursuits.
