and making stupids comments on my syntax in hope i stop to write the real story of this lowend NOz bb turbos.

Where is the good warranty, which this guys are talking about? hahahaha! Just sales argument, but once the reality comes up, nobody to care about it.... Where is my money? Thats the pitty realtiy on this BS

lucky me i have my dealer over here, making the installs for free and also paid a part on the TTE turbos. Otherwise i would have wasted 10000$ + on this issue, which is so nice covered by NOZ wayne hexon whatever!

Wow, part paid turbos and free install from a Swiss workshop?!

Mate, its a forum and you can write whatever you like.
You are not the first with turbo issues, whatever the brand, and you wont be the last.
Vendors running and hiding from failed turbos is not new.

And many of us have wasted thousands plus on doing turbos over and over again.

Your posts continually smell of misinformation and some hidden agenda well beyond failed turbos. True story, I think not.

Its not up to me to prove your point, its up to you to prove your not lying, you come on here with your 1 post claiming to be hurt by your supplier and want bad mouth a new company, how the hell do we know where you got it from except your word with no reputation what so ever and if there was any install error on the shops part or on your part.

Or your a rival vendor trying to put a company out of business before they start.

So blah blah blah your full of crap until you prove otherwise, because you sound like marshal from the uk.

It is not Marshall as we messaged him earlier and he has only sold a couple of these setups, within the United Kingdom only... while this guy is in Switzerland. The good news is that Marshall DOES maintain the units he has been involved with have also been doing well thus far.

While the OP's turbos are certainly the same BB turbos (same product same source), the distributor does not appear be one that is well known (ie. has not been publicized on the forums).

The long and short of it is that if they are doing well for Marshall and for JD, that is a good thing and hopefully this is some unfortunate one off case for the OP.

So why doesnt he seek compensation from his installer, since there has been no problems with bb turbos from other suppliers, how do we know they where installed correctly in the first place

To easy to point fingers and how can a guy be taken seriously coming on here with 1 post and be taken seriously without providing proper proof besides some pics that could have come from anywhere or other forums, who knows

Well we received a lengthy email this morning from the distributor/installer involving this case and Wayne is certainly the central contact point here. AND he has once again gone MIA once the struggle got real. We have requested permission to post the email but it seems very compelling that this is not some "amateur" mistake, at least from an installation perspective.

Permission has been granted to post the email.

"Hi Rob Received a call from Mirlind and he asked if i would be so friendly to confirm his installation of the Stg2 BB Turbos, give our expertise and provide some proof regarding the source.

Unfortunately, I must confirm his pity story. Yes, all his fails are true and yes Wayne did stop to replay to our mails. Especially because I was pushing him to come up for all the Hexon damages, what he initially agreed. Not sure from where people in US got that Wayne is just an employee from Hexon??? He just closed Hexon because he was not willing to come up for all the failures on the rr600.

    1 Hexon rr600 fail
2 Marshall (new brand from Wayne)
3 Unit we detect during the installation that the v-clamp isn’t holding the turbine housing on the chra as it should.
4 Then next issues start after 500 km (slight noise), after x thousand km the rear turbo fail completely and we had to change the unit again.
5 Next issue start then after 3000 km with the front unit, first oil leaking issues, then complete fail of the bb.

Mirlind informed me that people are dedicating this issue to an eventual installation error. At this point I can tell you, that we are doing every week N54 stg2 installations and we have no issues with other branded turbos. As you can see from our FB, we are receiving every month 4-6 units for installation from TTE. So no further comments on this from our side.

As you can see we never stopped to work with Wayne, this is also true for the Aussie dealer and the UK dealer (UK stopped later due to some problems). I had also contact to Ken form Wedge performance and he was very pissed from all the issues surrounding the Hexon story. He stopped immediately to work with Wayne. In fact after all my issues, I should have done the same…

General expertise on the N54s after 4 sets installed
2 sets fails (20 psi redline)
1 sets has started to making issue (spool noise) 17 psi redline
1 set ok, now set just to 450bhp mapping to avoid turbo fail

Remarks: Going over 17psi and pushing the car longer as just the 3rd and 4th Gear, will result that the BB gets too hot. Subsequently the backpressure will get to high, which will result in ignition drop (ign. Correction) and a sudden wastegate duty cycle raise. Going further the BB will also block which will result in complete lost of power. The N55 stg2 bb which we have installed on 02.2017 has the same issue.

Basically, we are the wrong company to test such low-end quality turbos, as most of our customer are running frequently on the German autobahn or even on track.

@ Mirlind, hope this is ok… I won’t waste any longer time on this, you got the installations for free beside the installation material and we paid 1500 CHF on the TTE units. However, I hope you can send the damaged bb turbos to fix it to one of these guys, still selling this turbo. If there is a possibility then please let me know, as I have still some customers with issues."

There are numerous attachments also with conversations with Wayne and his absenteeism, if the desire is there we can post them as well... but this should give the gist of what is going on.

The only person affected with a bb turbo failure is you dude, there are three sets running here in aus with absolutely no issues and from your post two sets in uk with no issues which leads me to believe that there was an install error or you had a major boost leak and the turbos where overspooled

There seems to be a hidden agenda behind your story and it will come out if something is not true eventually

If the bb turbos where so unreliable and failing i would be the first to report it, could you get a bad set maybe but unlikely

You went through 3 or 4 sets of turbos inc the bb ones which tends me to believe to be an install, tuning or a driver issue for this many sets to fail on one car

It sounds like your tuner or you is pushing the turbos way out of their effiency range and thats all

My rb turbo sweet spot is 21psi and i know for a fact anything over that will kill them in no time so i dont run them any higher, could i run them higher and get a few extra hp for sure but dont expect them to last 2000km at best.

Most certainly the harder you push turbos the more perfect all other things surrounding must be. It takes an extreme person and a complete perfectionist to be able to get away with these things when you have gone to (and beyond) the ragged edge.

The owner of TFT owned Classic RB's for a few years and beat on them hard with countless dynos and street pulls up to 30psi and they never had an issue, but he is very careful and diligent in his work as well. In fact they are still out there on another car after he parted his car out, still untouched with the original build specs from early 2014. This said we do not think there is a black and white "they will (or won't) do over x boost" comment that can be made, but varying circumstances certainly can lead to varying outcomes just as could have been the case for the OP.

Ive been running your turbos now for 1.5 years at 21 psi and at 22 psi they only make another 4 rwk, anything over that they make the same power output no matter what psi its at.

That seems they have nothing left in them no ?

The only restriction I thought I had was the outlets which i replaced but they where not and it still makes the same power but the pwm seems do be down a little running them.

Can not speak for your particular setup but the best numbers we have seen were always in the much higher 20's before reaching the point of diminishing returns. So when it comes to power production alone there should be quite a bit left in them until at least 26psi, with all else being perfect of course.

Interesting results and thanks for sharing but something seems off if you are not seeing any worthwhile gains after 21psi. Perhaps you have some other limitation in your inlets, some induction leak, or the like? Either way if you are looking to beat them to the edge you should have some more to go yet.

There is absolutely no limitation in my setup, every car Ive seen pushed past 22psi seen the turbos fail here, so im not willing to run them any higher. I will but only if you are willing to replace them for free if they fail Click here to enlarge

IMO the RHD cars have always had some headaches to face with all the plumbing limitations certainly including the crunched outlets. Even when "modified" or "repaired" those outlets still always seemed a bit shoddy and restrictive.

Anyway do as you feel appropriate for oneself as we have no interest in having you see if you can make more power until something may or may not implode in exchange for free turbos. However what was stated was a FWIW based on what we have seen over the years.

No one is asking you to replace them rob, it was a joke. Any decent tuner can work out how far a turbo can be pushed

Ive custom made my own outlets using your rev.1 silicone outlet pipe and I'm testing this atm.

Its a completely new redesigned outlet system not just a modified stock pipe.

its making around 355-360rwk on our very low reading dynos or add another 10-15% for your dynos on 98 ron fuel

    Not to shabby on 21psi.

But these are getting pulled out soon and the new noz stage 3's are going in and I will see if I can install a turbo speed sensor kit on each turbo from garrett to see what shaft speeds these turbos are doing at different psi levels.
