Thanks, much appreciated. Rebello Racing is doing the whole build, form the engine, install and tuning. So, I truly believe this will work out for the best.

I forgot to add some info. The new improved Darton sleeves are flanged which provide a better and tighter fit to the head gasket, but it also requires some special machineto install the sleeves that VAC has. A Special thanks to Tony at VAC for all his help. He is a stand-up guy, and very knowledgeable.

There seems to be too much damage to my block from my engine carnage, so I am getting a Darton flanged sleeved short block from VAC Motorsports. Maybe use my old block as a coffee table.

Anybody have an in for silicon hoses? Turbo Hoses is local but very high priced. I am more interested in quality than price (but not ridiculous price). Thanks

Coming along pretty good, thanks. VAC Motorsports installed Darton flange sleeves in new M62 block. Having new JE pistons , more aggressive cams installed with more head porting by Rebello Racing. Rebello will also install engine and do the tuning. Also maybe larger injectors and fuel pump. If no water leak is detected on WI system (aftercooler checked out ok for leaks), then logically water got into the engine when RMS blew the head gasket when they tried to "tune" my car before. Glad that nightmare is over.

Quick update: engine is done and since I don't wrench, I am having a BMW x-IMSA and current race car tech do the install, and Rebello Racing will tune. Talking about a month to get going and also replacing parts as needed, eg. the plastic radiator and small fan, replacing the exhaust pipes to Eisenmann muffler. Car has been stored in my garage thus far.

Sorry if I was not clear. I am not doing a plug- in- play. I am doing the wirein ecu (extreme). I will have a harness made for my car. Aside form the stock weight and full stereo system, the powertrain system is more race oriented.

Ah, got it. Well, that's a bit of work but it's going to be awesome.

Glad you're finally getting what you have been waiting forever for.

The shop where my engine is at is very short handed due to an employee's sickness (cancer), so in the mean time had my car towed to a high end car stereo shop to re-due my system. All new wires and interconnects and Stinger battery. Out with my old MB Quart Q series and Arc Audio subwoofer, for Focal ES 165KX2 K2 Power Series, and Focal E30 KX 12" sub. Re-do the front door panels with the 6.5" mids in custom door pods, and tweeters will go in stock location. I got rid of my speakers in the kick panels. Everything will be RTA tuned. I love great car stereo's because I can't drive 100 mph over the speed limit all day long.Click here to enlarge And I am not tracking my heavy German muscle car. Pic's later.

Quick update: I had to pull my car out of Rebello Racing only because they had some bad luck and are severely short staffed. My car next week is going to TurboHoses.com for engine install and either chip tune or stand-alone. Also custom exhaust. I like a stand-alone for different fuel maps.

Man, that's a bummer. I hope TurboHoses gets it running.

No doubt. They have been building race cars and have won races over many years. They are also the main service center for Noble cars. I am very, very happy to have them work on my car. And they have worked with Rebello Racing, and even have built race cars together. TurboHoses obviously sells hoses, but they fabricate, build race cars and tune either chip or stand-alone. Google them.
