RedGutz 991 Turbo S with Champion Motorsports Turbo Upgrade Drag Races All Comers
Today I went to a private exotic car quarter mie drag race at a 3,000 foot runway and finally, got to try out my Champion 68mm VTG Turbo Upgrade with race gas (Sunoco GT 260 Plus) and my new rear R888s. Wow! Between the R888s and the Turbo upgrade with race gas the performance was in a complete different universe than on Stage 2+ with stock turbos, race gas and regular summer tires. The car finally hooked every time on launch and accelerated like I have never felt before. There was no timing by but the 1/4 flag my speedo indicated 140 mph -- 10 mph faster than I have ever done on that runway with my car.I had 9 races. I won all of them except against a 1000 plus hp Jeep on high boost that was towed to the event and during the race I lost to him was making a very loud whooshing sound which I thought was supplemental fueling. As the attached videos show the margins of victory were massive. Thank you Tom and Champion!!!Here are the vids:1.

@sdg1871 any reason your videos aren't working? Only the bottom one works for me.

GIAC Stage IV tuned Porsche 991.1 Turbo S with Champion 68mm VTG Turbo Upgrade vs. McLaren 650S, tuned GTR, 997 Turbo, 1000+ hp Jeep SRT, etc.
This Porsche 991.1 Turbo S belongs to BoostAddict member @sdg1871. His car is tuned with a GIAC Stage IV flash for upgraded turbos. He has a 68mm VTG turbo upgrade from Champion Motorsports along with their intercoolers and a Tubi exhaust.
The car is quick especially off the line which shows in the runs below. He easily beats just about everything he runs as nobody can match the launch. Well, only the all wheel drive Jeep Cherokee SRT with over 1000 horsepower can.
The two McLarens are easily dispatched:
Next up are a pair of GTR's. The blue one has bolt ons.
A 997 turbo with unknown mods tries its luck:
The only car that poses a real challenge is this Jeep. The 991 fights it off when the Jeep is on low boost but with the boost turned up the Jeep impressively wins. Talk about a stoplight terror:

that jeep was a beast, considering the cars you easily dispatched.

The following was pulled from 6speedonline.com
Redgutz on the Champion Motorsports Dyno in for her turbo upgrade.
Results:
655 wheel HP and 641 wheel torque on Ms109 race gas. 610 wheel HP on 93 octane. 655 wheel HP is about 773 horsepower at the crank.
Modding the car is now over.
Final mod list:
Champion Motorsports upgraded turbos - 68mm VTGs
Champion Motorsports intercoolers
Tubi catless race exhaust
GIAC tune (probably called Stage 4)
BMC filter
Champion race diverter valves
Stock: plenum, headers, Y pipe and transmission. No meth injection or nitrous.
Here is the video of a Dyno pull. Flames happen. Will post Dyno graphs as soon as I get them.

You may have but I don't recall I just pasted it in because I wanted to see the full mod list. I am surprised at no intake mods since those seem pretty standard...but to each his own as they say.
amazing car, I'm looking at 991.1 turbos, the fringe examples are almost hitting sub-$100k...another year and the should be there.

Little evidence that the intake type mods actually work for the 991.1 TTS. I had the IPD plenum on until my tune dynoed an identically modded car comparing the stock plenum with IPD plenum and found a 15-20 wheel HP loss from stock with the IPD plenum. So I removed it from my car when went back to the stock plenum. Similarly I removed the aftermarket FVD headers from my car after my tuner dynoed it and found they lost significant power frombstock. So I went back to stock headers. I reviewed Dyno results of the Y pipe that fits my setup vs stock Y Pope and the power gains were very small and insignificant. And I have yet to see Dyno results on any of the aftermarket intakes.
To me the mods that produce the most power in the car are:
1. Tune
2. Upgraded exhaust (high flow cats or for the most power catless).
3. Upgraded intercoolers
4. Upgraded turbos
5. Water/meth injection kit
6. R888 rear tires to put power down
7. Race gas
Mods that I am specious about in terms of power gains are:
1. Intake
2. Headers
3. Plenum
4. Y pipe
