VTT S55 Stock Motor Power / TQ record 734WHP / 762WTQ
We finally got around to finishing up the testing our on S55 Stage turbo's, and the results as we expected. We picked up the Stock motor S55 power record, previous it was 728, we made 734WHP, and 729WHP on two different pulls this am. We also managed to make 762WTQ on a more aggressive throttle map. Also if anyone wants to say glory pulls, here are 10 runs all above 700WHP from yesterday and this am. The 734WHP, and 729WHP runs were made on the E30 OTS BM3 map, no special tuning, the problem is the E30 scaler is too low up top, and even with PI adding a ton of fuel, we are just plain out of fuel. Dzenno gave us a map with better E85 scaler, more aggressive throttle, and 2-3 degrees less timing, it picked up the tq down low, and it pulls clean all the way up every run. The E30 OTS map is prob a little aggressive timing wise for these boost levels so we wont run it there, custom maps are always better for these levels.
As you can see car is making 500WTQ by around 3300, and 700 by 3800K. This is a solid 500+ RPM better spool than the other turbos you see on the market.
A big thanks of course To Dzenno at BM3 for the help, its fun working with him again! Also to Terry, Mike at EOS, and Bell intercoolers for the great intercooler. Not to mention the owner who let us use his car as a test bed!
There is one S55 making more power at 745WHP (11WHP more), which is a fully built motor, fully ported head, 9 second race car, and one car making more Power / TQ at 763WHP/776WTQ (14WTQ more) and its running a 100 shot of NOS. Impressive? We think so... We will be getting this car to the track, and 1/2 mile events very soon.

For comparison sake. Our built motor N54 vs Stock motor S55. Keep in mind, both these cars are using very similar turbos. Shows how much better the N54 spools, and holds power up top. The N54 is also doing that on 25 psi, the S55 is needing 35 psi....

Congrats on the numbers looks strong.
We made 745hp 800tq on 34psi ( I would have to look back at it) with Pure Stage 2's and our built motor. The motor consists of forged rods and pistons utilizing the same compression. The only difference really would be the ported head on our end. Curious if you had any clutch slip? In 5th gear on the dyno our clutch would slip around 760-780tq, although our clutch has seen some real abuse of the years and was one of the first ones off the assembly line it may just need refreshed.

Jason, thank you sir, appreciate the kind words. The ported head is going to make a big difference as far as flow. We picked almost 50+WHP on the N54 doing nothing but going ported head. From what I have seen these S55 motors stock flow like complete $#@!. 35 psi to make this power is indicator of that. The N54 is making 100WHP more at redline with 10 psi less boost. Turbos for all intents and purposes are the same size between both motors. The big thing with these over the Pure's if you compare graph to graph, these are picking up a bunch of bottom end, and midrange, which makes a big difference in racing scenerios, drag racing for getting out of the hole, and roll racing for the initial hit.
As for the clutches, so far so good, not issues at all. We could not even get the final learning procedure to work. I told Chuck I was just going to run the piss out of them, and see what they did. So far they are holding great!

Congrats!!
Couple minor suggestions looking at the log. I'd change open loop to 0, to prevent the JB4 from offsetting your fuel trims when boost is over DME BT. It's driving trims negative and AFR richer than it needs to be.
Also, set the JB4 target closer to where you want boost to be. As is the JB4 thinks you are 4psi over target which could cause problems when it comes time to take it down the track.
Also FF probably needs to come down a bit, that might be part of why boost is running over your target.Burger Motorsports

No sir. The 9 second car is a fully built motor, ported head etc. The NOS car was just stock motor with 100 shot. He posted the results first, and didn't say that he used NOS. Everyone questioned it, and he came clean.

I believe Pure has the car listed in their results thread in the S55 section here.

Thats why I said the TPG built S55, fully built motor, fully ported head, the whole 9 yards to make the S55 flow every big as well as the N54, or better. The S55 units are very very similar to a set of GC's, yet the S55 still seems to fall on its face up top. I am not sure where the restriction is, but its got one somewhere. We wont even get into how bad the S55 sounds for god knows why....I do love the platform though, driving this M4 is fun, the car is a friggin rocket

Nice VTT!
What is the VTT N54 at that power level doing in a 1/2 mile or 1/4 mile so far?
