C'mon man. You're better than that. Not at all. Read a few posts back. Only a few are misfiring, and it is due to a pre-existing hardware problem (injectors, plugs, coils, etc) The procede is just more 'prone' to misfire. And many if not all misfires are able to be simply solved by contacting Vishnu and having them send custom maps.

Ok it may be putting out the same numbers but Terry is saying on auto it's best to redline to get best acceleration and Shiv is telling us to shift at 6300 rpms, so which one it really is and which one is quicker ? I don't get it

The only reason one should shift earlier than redline is to take advantage of peak torque of the engine...in other words, you will accelerate faster if you shift earlier rather than draw it out to redline. Search for a thread on E90 Mr. 5 started on Ideal Shift Points.
Do you get misfires when you go all the way to redline? If so, give Shiv an email and he'll get you fixed up quick.

And for what its' worth, Shiv has stated on e90 the recipe a.k.a. 'trade secrets' that makes the engine more 'prone' to misfires on full boost at redline...remember, this is almost always a hardware issue.
And one can move around the tq/hp curve a little bit with initial boost / taper....for instance you can put zero taper of 18psi at redline if you'd like...even though it'd be choking out the stock turbos.

Hey Brian I just sold my jb3 and got the procede but havn't installed it yet, I will this week , I'm just curious if procede is good for AT you know, because when I was reading before I purchased everyone was super happy with procede then when I got it I discovered this whole missfires, early shifting bull$#@!, why is Terry saying to redline it ? if there's a boost taper after the 6500 rpm on procede, was I having the same boost taper on jb3 ? I just don't want to be slower lol that's my only thing if I'm slower with procede than with jb3, I will be dissapointed, I hope not.

Haha no not at all...read my posts. Remember, there are thousands of procedes out there...thousands of Jb3s out there.. the people with problems on the forums don't represent the entire masses. You will absolutely love the V4/V5 now. I was surprised by how much of a difference it was. Yes, the procede is good for AT's. Very good. You've discovered a few threads with a few people having misfire issues at redline..however if they would've called or emailed Vishnu first, they would have been able to get the issue resolved quickly, most likely with special maps that are less 'prone' to this misfire. Remember, if your car's injectors/coils/plugs are in good operating order, you won't have this misfire. (I see your other thread on e90 regarding rougher idle at cold start..most likely a HPFP issue) You won't have a slower car with the procede. Relax

you need to calculate the correction on PSI. Multiple those numbers x 1.85 and you get the flow on 220 psi.

6AT en route, we'll see if I misfire on the PROcede. Don't even know what a misfire code looks like on the 6MT though.
