    Turbo upgraded N54 E60 535i getting walked by a bolt on GTR

    A humbling experience here but a full bolt on Nissan GTR is no slouch. Neither is a BMW N54 with the Pure Stage 2 turbo upgrade. The E60 chassis is a bit heavier than your typical N54 and namely an E82 1-Series variant.

    Run what you brung though. This E60 belongs to BimmerBoost member @viperware and it is a strong car. His vehicle is a 2010 E60 535i with FBO, JB4, Port Injection, Pure Stage 2, RB Inlets, VTT outlets, and an MFactory LSD.

    It just wasn't enough.

    He is. It's just where it's placed probably doesn't convey the exhaust note well.

    @PR3CI5N e90 335i with practically the same set up as OP has a video racing a FBO E85 GTR and walking it pretty hard. i dont think hes that much lighter then OPs car to make the race that different. possible the GTR in this video had some bigger snails on a street tune making 700+ whp

    Yeah without knowing the mod list it's tough. Based on how he pulled it definitely needs to be FBO on E85 at the minimum one would think.

    My car is pretty silent, behind the DPs is stock exhaust including secondary cats. It was just dashcam video and my windows were up, but you can definitely hear the GTR. I can tell you that vehicle was expertly modified. The logs from this sequence are posted as well. I had a misfire and some timing drops. Still working out the tune. Hopefully will get this thing on the rollers soon to get a better idea what it's actually pushing. Mad respect to the GTR and whoever tuned that beast.

    We also don't know if the GTR was on pump gas.
    Pump gas FBO GTR and E85 FBO GTR are two COMPLETELY different animals.

    @viperware How much boost were you running? Get your car retuned on high boost (25+psi) and race him again from a 60 roll.
