Yes they made sure the car was drivable on the lpfp alone. I didn't realise that part of that involved making the injectors bigger than they otherwise could have been. Good to know!

Are the injectors suitable for 100% E85 use on a long term basis? Since the n54 isn't flex fuel rated, do the injectors suffer any negative effects from the increased presence of ethanol?

It's good to hear that the system can run ethanol as long as you have the pressure and flow to compensate. That's incredible power to run through stock injectors.

The question isn't whether they can or not. It's been proven that they can and that e85 is possible.
The question is with all the required extra fuel to make e85 hit afrs, what will happen to the longevity of the injectors and what is cost effective.
6 new injectors after 2 or 3 years? Who knows how long they will last and what the degradation pattern may be from the increased pressures and work load?
That has to be priced against the alternatives. A port injection setup may be good for 5 years or more.Best:11.79@119mph on stock turbos.

Yeah...Im sure the products are great, and vargas has proven to make great power without port fuel injection with these items, but 999 turns into a higher price real quick lol. When pricing out a double barrel, the website only allows you to select some weird 200 dollar core charge option for that selection field which brings it up to 1199, then considering the double barrel needs 2 hpfps and most of us only have 1 hpfp on the car, select an additional hpfp for another 700 (1899 total so far) then youll need a controller for the 2nd one, so that is another 329 added (total is 2228 now) , then 50 for domestic shipping, bringing the grand total to $2278.
The single barrel, however, doesnt have that weird 200 core charge selection field, and only has one additional cost....the 50 for domestic shipping, bringing the total to $849.2008 e92 335i

Ah ok. So if we get a hpfp from ecs its $411, but $700 from vtt? Is it that reman part that you guys have stock of that is more expensive?
So total ballpark cost of the double barrel kit from vtt with the secondary pump to be used bought from ecs is $1789. $849 for the single barrel. Just wanted to get the total cost right.2008 e92 335i

Please ask Tony to replace the coolant line adapter hose with a more reassuring set up. After finding a slow dribble leak in an AN barbed + clamped connection, I likely would toss it and fab something up on my own.
