2018 C7 Corvette ZR1 sheds more camo as latest spyshots reveal more details

Chevrolet is bringing out the big guns with the C7 generation ZR1 Corvette. This is going to be the highest performance C7 and highest performance Corvette of all time. With the way the Grand Sport is performing the ZR1 is likely shooting for nothing less than being the best performance car on the market at any price point.

The fact it will punch well above its weight is just a huge bonus. Those aerodynamics you see including the huge rear wing are there for performance on the track. Chevy listened to complaints about Z06 traction.

They also likely listened to complaints about the motor. They won't admit it but their small blower choice was a mistake. They have to spin it way too hard generating too much heat and while it provides great torque and response down low it does not have much a top end punch. Plus, the torque down low only complicates traction issues.

Will get it the rumored LT5 twin turbo V8? Time will tell. Expect this to be the baddest Corvette ever made.

With the larger vents on the left and right sides of the front bumper it very well could be twin turbo. Those could be vents for small intercoolers for a twin turbo system. Similar to the old 300zx.

It's going to top the ACR no matter what. If the ACR had the same power and torque though...

its so funny how we all admire the German/Italian high dollar super/hyper car but the fastest track weapon is the American Viper and as a honorable mention the Japanese gtr knocked them all on there asses for a good 3-5 years!
the fact that the acr out laps the 918 and other hyper cars is just insane!!
