We may just throw the +'s on the manual transmission car after AZ NFZ and see what we can make. Tony has it down to a science, and can swap turbos on the car in around 2 hours. The modular design of the GC's makes it much easier.
RHD rear housings still on the cards at all?

    Hi Flinchy,

Yes, they're still on the table. RHD GC's will be available but require some modifications to work; right now Nizpro is doing some testing for us. Ultimately we will be performing those modifications in-house and they'll be available ready to go. For now, testing is slow and steady... hope to have more on this to post in the next few weeks.

ah so going to be modified lhd housings (or heavily modified charge pipe to clear the rack?) not a true original fitment level bolt on.. kinda disappointing but if you aren't willing to to a separate casting because large cost that's fair I guess Click here to enlarge. Get what we're given lol

I've heard nizpro has had one hell of a time getting it to work.

Not sure who you have been talking to -Nizpro told us directly that they had absolutely no problems getting them to work. They simply modified the compressor outlets to get them exactly where they wanted them, modify the charge pipe to match, and that was it, no other changes needed. We're pretty excited about them.

so why are the AEM screen shots labeled "GC+" when youre supposedly advertising GC? even if its a typo its not very reassuring since no one else out there but you has posted glory runs like this

We got the white car (6MT) back up and running strong and thought we'd revisit some GC numbers for your viewing pleasure.

    Car specs:
    Built Short block
Stock head with bad valve guide seals
    GC turbos
    BMS DP's
Custom Exhaust dual 3" into 4"
    Shotgun Single Barrel
    VTT Rear Silicone intake
    Custom VTT front intake
    VTT DCI
Custom VTT Catch can set up
EOS Intake manifold with built in PI
    Custom LPFP set up
    100% E85 for fuel
    MHD tune by V8bait
    FLASH ONLY
    ADE Intercooler
AEM AQ1 data logging set up with Dual EGT, Dual BP, Manifold Pressure, FMIC In / out temps
    6MT (4th gear logs)

    Numbers:
Now, on to the numbers. Note that we're referencing boost from the AEM logs (screen shots attached) in lieu of MHD reading it in the charge pipe, which isn't accurate. The AEM map sensor is calibrated and tested to be accurate. Datazap of course references the MHD values for those who care.

These numbers speak for themselves, but any comments from competitors or their pawns about these reaching a bottle neck around 650 whp should be recognized as the marketing gibberish that it is. These turbos are very efficient. 600 wtq at 3500 rpm and no wheel spin on the dyno!

Hi! Good catch, although we did already address that earlier in the thread:

And yes, these runs are glorious.

HAHA! No no Chris, let them think these are GC+ results based of an old AEM project name I never changed. I mean $#@! up until 2 weeks ago, every AEM log no matter what turbos I was running said "Stage 3 project" as you have to do a bunch of $#@!ery to bring all your filters into a new project. Its perfect, let them think these are GC+ numbers so when we do drop actual GC+ numbers it will just be like, OH....... I guess those were GC's after all. Also keep in mind this is the dude who promotes Pure for a living, so him questioning the results that make his buddies offering look weak is not a shock. In case you were not sure. Pure is the company who hangs its hat on a 711WHP dyno spike, but all their other results are people making 675WHP on 900 psi... Click here to enlarge

I have no dog in this fight but it makes all the sense in the world that GCs would outpower any OE-based turbo upgrade due to their larger, freer flowing turbine housing & manifold combo. No huge surprise there..

Sometimes these things happen, but please tell me how you can verify a coil will work at 700whp by testing it at 500whp? I just don't understand, I'm not being defensive. You can't judge a coil by how it looks... is that wrong to say?

Edit- maybe you confused when I said known burnt as meaning known bad. By known burnt, i mean it had some heat deformation from his engine fire. He replaced a few parts after the fire but not everything, as that would generally be considered a waste. It was functioning, however. I also don't think this qualifies as a "big dyno day" or whatever, hell I was sitting for my boards (9 hour test) and he just rolled the car on to see what it would do post fire. That's all I have to say on that matter, I thought the numbers were pretty nice consisting all of the above Click here to enlarge

I still dabble in tuning, just not commercially really since I've been so busy (but I'd make time for some spare cash haha). I like the new projects since they're less bread and butter, what can i say i enjoy challenges. What did you replace your bmw with?
