    I second this. No pedal response and weird oscillating revs means the DME never reset after adaptations were cleared. Sleep or Restart the DME (or technically, you could just wait 10 mins and let the car do it by itself), and presto.... no more pants $#@!ting that you just bricked a DME.
    I third this. Exactly my experienced today. I reset all adaptations. Got oscillating RPMs upon restart with no throttle response and half-engine light. Rad Fan may have been on too. Turned off. Reset DME with Cobb. Key out. Restarted just fine, maybe some idling hiccups. Waited a few minutes for idle rpm to settle and then drove off just fine. 93 Octane with my PTF e-tune. No need to re-flash...just reset the DME.

    happens to me almost every time i switch between e60 map and 94 octane map...... hpfp drops, half engine light comes on and fan goes at full speed. i normally shut it down, clear codes, reset adaptations, give it a minute and restart then everything is fine

    I tried starting two more times and it still did it. Within 5 minutes and without removing key.
    Still havnt started it again.
