Precision Tuning W212 Mercedes-AMG E63 S M157 flash dyno tune results - 632 all wheel horsepower

We all know the 5.5 liter M157 AMG V8 is a monster. It is the largest engine of the modern German direct injected twin turbo V8's. However, the engine is all about brute force. Just look a that torque figure of over 730 lb-ft of torque at all four wheels.

The horsepower number is solid as well with 632 to all four wheels. However, compare that peak horsepower figure to Precision Tuning's results on a BMW F13 M6.

While the Mercedes M157 makes more torque the BMW S63TU makes more horsepower at 688 to the wheels on pump gas at 22 psi. This E63 would be favored from a stop and the Precision Tuned M6 would be favored from a roll.

Certainly interesting that the smaller BMW V8 which AMG fans discounted early on is making bigger tune only numbers now.

Out of Renntech, Weistec, eurocharged, AMS and now precision tuned, who makes for the fastest tune?
I have a 2016 E63 S that is stock and I ran into 2 hellcats today. The only thing that saved my ass was the AWD. I need tune and down pipes ASAP!!!!

flashing the ecu magic has been there from all the tuners.... what he means is giving that these ecu tunes, from all the tuners, have been putting out about 600whp for a while now, where did Precision tuning find an additional ~30whp? smells like race fuel to me or over zealous dyno unless they figured something out that all the other tuners havent... and that would bring back to Zods original question as too what changed in tune to unleash another 30 whp if it isnt race fuel?

nevermind, good ole google search answered that in about 5 min .... car in the dyno also has catless downpipes, so not as impressive as originally thought

yep... but article title M157 flash dyno tune results - 632 all wheel horsepower makes it sound like 632 whp off just a tune... that's what zod was asking where the extra ~30whp came from and i was wondering same as well until i found out its tune AND downpipes
