This is my build so far in order
Yes I started with a godspeed intercooler

JB4
BMS Downpipe
cpe charge pipe
BMS Oil Catch Can
Vanos solenoids
Coils
Spark plugs
AFE intake
BMS flash etc.
BT cable
BMS cable
Water pump
Thermostat
RB's
Cobb V3
boost solenoids
Clutch valve
New brake pads and rotors OEM
Inline 255 pump kit from steveaz
swapped godspeed intercooler for Ambient Thermal Managment intercooler
200L E85
Mfactory LSD
Wheels
RB inlets
Turbosmart Kompact plumb back valves
PTF Twin Plate Clutch
Custom charge piping for 3 inch intercooler
RB stealths
o2 sensors
Ad engineering intercooler
No Port injection no mhd
Not looking for 700hp
Just a fun car
Here a couple of logs from a base map on pump fuel

Surprised nobody commented on this.
A graph plus some pics would go a long way but that's a solid mod list.

This was in 2013
Purchased car with a boost leak and went from there.
drove 4000km home witha boost leak, not exagerating Newcastle-melbourne-home in Darwin.
Took ages to find out teh nipple under the inlet manifold was the issue, this is after installing jb4 and ebay godspeed intercooler.
Wastegate rattle was an absolute bitch.
Removed stockers in my drive way
Installed Rbs in my drive way, cleaned intake valves new charge pipe etc.

This was the RB install
Couldnt figur out where the sensor for the coolant tank was and i i wanted to do was start it up.
Last image of what i thought was my great 6 inch godspeed intercooler, until I came here posted logs and got drilled for buying it.

Had the cracked wheel situation on the bbs 230 wheels.
Bought a decent intercooler ATM
Started in my Mfactory LSD install, which i bought on the original group buy about a year before the install

Diif removal and install
I had to take it to a shop to use a press.
They shimmed and checked backlash and gave it back for me to do the rest, cost $100

LSD installed
Ended up costing about $500 with all the random tools and lube and oil to put it in.
It started making a scraping noise like worn out brake pads but it just ended up being the metal shroud the near the axels so i just bent them out a bit with a screw driver and the sound went away.

I was one of the first lucky ones to get RB inlets and made a DIY for them.
1.75 inlets were piss easy compared to 2 inch.

This was too much power for my clutch even on a pump tune so i got the spec twin plate clutch.
The only item i did not DIY, i paid a shop $1000 to do it.
Works fine a bit noise with ac on if you were daily driving it.
Easy to drive around on and plenty of bite

A few new turbos started coming out so i kept asking RB to send me the new stealths.
I sent my old rbs that had no issues after 2 years back and waited about a month until the stealths were made.
Image of atm intercooler installed after a year or so.

Our RHD chargepipes are very squashed so i copied Peter the Advan guy in Australia making it flow a bit better and cut the squashed bits out and welded it back up

Installed RB stealths
It was a major pain with the 2 inch snout and the new rb oil drains.
Literally installed the rear turbo 5 times because of the block stud length and steering column. New studs were about 5-7mm longer and $#@!ed me big time.
Then the rear oil drain i stupidly pulled the engine mount for the first time and it took more then a day to put it back in.

This rear oil drain leaked after 3 installs.
The flange was bent during install.
I ended up installing the oem rear oil drain.

Installed AD intercooler.
Just cut the $#@! out of everything up top to fit it.
Screws fit in like oem.
Just had to custom make some pipe from cpe charge pipe to extend to the silicone.

Removed exhaust and took the inside of the cats out and welded them back in place.
It stinks alot.
Its very hard to make it drone it only happens if your reving above normal and holding it like 3000rpm, no one could tell the difference between catless dps going to full catless for noise.
It definitely stinks bad

After all this modifications I still have a hesitation/stumble around 1500 rpm
so i have started trouble shooting.
Home made smoke machine.
Found leak out top of one DV at teh top connection, tightened it and it stopped. Might still leak under boost.
Inlet manifold i tapped three years ago had slither air was leaking from so i used 2 part to bog it up.
Spool has increased but has not fixed the hesitation. It was leaking for 3 years+. Cause I bought the car with boost leak i thought i had fixed it but the increased spool i have now feels good.
I have installed new pre cat 02 sensors, boost solenoids, vanos solenoids checked vacuum with my smoker and cant find any more.
With some logs posted someone told me to check vacuum on charge pipe side so thats when i started with my smoke machine.
I now think it can only be tmap sensor or injector coding, i have no symptons of injector leaking. new spark plugs coils are done.
Never had one missfire

Looking to go to the drags on the 8th of April
There are 31 events this year including drag, circuit and drifting days ( drift days can be used for test and tuning) i can got to at the track which is 5 kms from my house. Flattest track in Australia and used for top fuelers.
Trying to figure this stumble out cause its hard to launch.

Are your AFR and trims between banks roughly the same in logs? Does the hesitation occur both warm and cold?

Happens both warm and cold.
idle log attached first one before i fixed inlet manifold leak 2nd after it was fixed but issue remains

I have only started googling fuel trims map sensors etc the last few days am im not sure what too look for exactly.
The symptoms seem to still lead towards a leak still on chargepipe side or tmap sensor is faulty.
Post cat o2 are original still.Last edited by Brule; 03-25-2016 at 07:06 PM.
