What is happening here ?? Throttle/engine lag ??? I am totally lost !
Hey,
I hope you guys have some insights in this matter, because i really, really can't wrap my head around it.
I regulary do some logging.
A week ago i noticed some weird "lag"
Everytime i mashed the throttle , there is a really small delay.
So i went to the logs, So i thought there was a boost leak. But boost building is working as intended. WG functionality is normal, and i am hitting peak boost everytime.
Then i started to look at the acceleration pedal/throttle body behaviour.
Everything seems normal, Throttle body is a bit behind accel pedal maybe , but nothing to weird.
Then i noticed that when I go WOT , the moment there is no boost building, there is actually no RPM increase either... Obviously no rpm increase... no boost... thus "lag"
But the strange thing is, at that time throttle body is wide open @ 80%.
Does someone have some experience or thought about this ?
This is a Log where you can see the flatline at the start of WOT:

I have similar issue. I think it is because of:
1. O2 sensor
or/and
2. wiring (i use JB4), maybe it is getting old and need some preventive maintenance
it is happening to me only when we have high humidity (i leave close to Caspian sea)
i thought it was tranny issue, but i changed to new one - but issue is still in place

I am getting some hints that it might be cause of clogged inlet ports due to carbon build up..
going to shedule a wallnutshell blast..
Had an accident earlier this week, might as well do everything together ..

I spent some time today and logged my car using JB Kit.
could you guys please have a look at the log and share your opinion why my car is slightly self-accelerating at low RPMs? again, it is happening when we have rainy (high humidity) weather only

I am not a jerk.
but suddenly it starts about his car self accelerating, wich is a totally different issue.
It's better to make a different topic so each problem can be targetted specifically
