6AT Transmisison Tag?
Anyone know where the transmission tag is located on our cars? I'm ordering new solenoids and the seller needs the 10 digit code that is located on the tag. They said it usually starts with 1071 or 1068. I looked last weekend when I was determining if I had a 6HP21 or 19, but I didn't see any tag.
They need this number in addition to knowing that it's a 6HP21. I have no idea why...

I was able to find the number on a white sticker on the side of the trans. It's also stamped into the side where it says what type of transmission it is:

I ended up browsing 6HP21's for sale on eBay and used their pictures to determine where this number was located
