JB1 tuned Volkswagen MKVII Golf R breaks into the 11's on pump gas with an 11.7@114 1/4 mile run
Last week VWBoost posted a 1/4 mile run for a BMS tuned Golf R which was just a hair away from the 11's. Well, the Golf R with BMS JB1 tuning is now in the 11's and what makes this impressive is that it is done with basic bolt on modifications on 91 octane pump gas.
For the pump gas aspect to not be misleading allow us to emphasize methanol injection is employed. Still, with a JB1, downpipes, intake, and meth running 11's in Sacramento on California pump fuel is no small feat.
It will be interesting to see how much further BMS tuning evolves on the platform. Mid 11's up next?
