Rofl, sorry, but that little 'blip' at the end? Really? At least the Vargas number was from a solid point in the run. Those runs are all over the place.

It's a bit of a stretch to claim 700whp but the car made some decent power. It seems to me 700whp on current hybrids is a bit unrealistic. They all seem to cap out around 675whp with stable tunes. Even then a few stock motors have blown at 650-675whp. I'd probably keep hybrids with E85 around 25psi on 11-12 degrees of timing personally. Should net around 625whp and hopefully prove reliable.

No offense, but YOU obviously don't know what a data spike / bad data is. It's clearly the outlier of the pulls. You just aren't going to magically jump the required 3-5psi to make that extra immediate 20-30whp spike at that high of an RPM, especially when the turbos are being pushed as hard as they are here / close to maxed.
If it really is due to "boost control issues", where's the corresponding boost plot to line up w/ the HP spike?

Some people post many just fix them and move on. Used motors are around $3000 these days. So it's not the end of the world. I just don't want people to read threads like this and think 700whp with hybrids or anything close to it is going to be reliable. There is a big difference between doable and reliable.
The single turbo kits, for their higher cost and other shortcomings, for some reason don't blow up as often at much higher power levels. Maybe due to the reduced back pressure.Burger Motorsports

I wish I had the logs to post for you but I don't as I wasn't Tuning the car while it was on the dyno. A data spike is straight up, maybe a lucky dyno run yes but data spike no. Please show another set of stock frame hybrids that's making 687whp with a stock A/T trams. Do you think a manual car can't make 24 more whp then an AT with the same mods. It obvious the boost is all over the place look at the whole dyno graph. Call it bad data if you want but it's def not a data spike. These turbos just came out there will be more 700+whp dyno a with the n54 PS2's just give it time.

Jesse sent me the logs after the session to ask for advice, and this is the 710whp log. You'll see PWM is oscillating about 30psi. We've found at these high pressures on hybrids the system becomes very sensitive to PWM movement and that requires some special tuning considerations.
That said the car made 711whp, if only for 100-200rpm. If it was a reading spike the smoothing5 would have taken it out and it would be for much less than 100rpm.Burger Motorsports

Great numbers... Hopefully they can get the boost oscillation fixed and smooth out the power.

It'd be really easy to tell if it's a spike or not by looking at the log. On the graph, it really does look like a spike, neg rep away if you don't understand smoothing or spikes and want to show your lack of knowledge. It might not be a spike but it sure as hell looks like one. Call it the record, sure, fine, but I can recreate spikes like that on dyno charts all day long, no problem. I don't think it really matters and the turbos clearly perform awesomely just this is sloppy data.

We never claimed any record, just sharing more results. It's not bad data. It's the upswing of a boost spike, then hits the rev limiter right at 711. With smooth boost control, a clean 700whp is definitely possible. 650whp seems like a really great power level for our hybrids. On a well prepared car, they easily make 650 at 26-28psi. Pretty awesome for turbos that appear stock from the outside. We are finally getting our shop 135i N54 together. We will make sure to turn that one up too! Thanks
