I wish the guy would create a business page on Facebook. He's hit the 5,000 friend limit and nobody can comment, like or ask questions.

Id go with VM for proven quality and second to none customer service, because I feel like that's worth the extra money but thats just me. JP should be a good kit as well!

Yeah nothing against JP but it is a new kit and I haven't seen any reviews of how easy it is to install or anything yet.
VM has years of glowing reviews and the durability of the manifold has shown to be good.
I know FFTEC has had a few problems with cracking welds after some use so you never know how a new tubular manifold will hold up.

Quote from the thread mentioned: "I've had nothing but nightmares with this kit. He sent me unfinished dp, that doesn't even fit!!!! Missing parts that I was supposed to get according to his parts list... Gotten 3 packages from him in the past month." "6466, my dp hits the rear wastegate AND the motor mount bracket.... He put a price, I paid, it should work as stated."

Lol! People should perhaps remember that i invented the manufacturing method and have the US patent to prove it. Don't worry about Motiv. You can not imagine how bad they are going to look next to my product. The dyno we post next to theirs is going to be devastating.
John gets to run with this because he has to be one of the nicest and most skilled car guys I have met in this industry. If it wasn't for him I would never have done any more BMW stuff after the E46 manifolds.
Yes, we think it will fit in the 4 wheel drive Beemers.
I'm predicting at least 400 ftlbs at 3000 with a nice strong top end from whatever the 9174 or 9180 turbo can feed into it.

For the first time i finally saw the VM KIT in person! Im going to be honest...i haven't seen many cars with a top mount turbo like that (most half way down or near bottom of motor). there is legit ZERO ROOM in that engine bay and soo much heat produced! I dont understand why anyone would want that other then for "looks". with my lack of experience and knowledge i cant figure out how the hell a bottom mount turbo does not preform better!! I will say the vm kit quality was great...but the filter looks like a pancake....600+ hp and youre going to tell me thats efficient?? Im going to be driving my car all over with the addition of track days...i want something reliable for everything and it just seems like bottom mount is the way. Maybe im wrong?
