    First 10 second F10 M5 as well as the quickest and fastest F10 M5 - 10.95 @ 131.54

About time really, right? Here is the first 10 second F10 M5. This 10.95 @ 131 beats the previous 11.07 @ 128.68 which was the quickest F10 M5 1/4 mile run and the 11.580 @ 130.08 run that was the fastest. The quickest S63TU powered vehicle remains an F13 M6 with a 10.77 @ 128.81 pass.

What is interesting to note is that all of these vehicles feature BMS tuning. The differences between them amount to supporting mods such as the exhaust system and meth injection. This particular F10 M5 in the video below features the BMS Stage I system and meth injection.

What has held the M5 and M6 back is traction and the launch of course as the rear wheel drive M cars are not easy to launch with all the turbo torque. The drag radials on this car help as does doing the run in the winter at the ATCO drag strip in New Jersey.

This is now the quickest and fastest F10 M5 and there certainly is room to improve as well based on the 1.799 60 foot. As more tuning options develop we should see these cars go deeper into the 10's with bolt ons and ECU tunes.

weight loss would be nice but the MAIN limitation right now is traction, all these gtr's are 3800-4100lb with cages putting up all kinds of crazy numbers. if you shave a tenth off the 60ft you shave 2 tenths of the et. so if this car had lets say a 1.4 60ft that puts you in the 10.1xx area as the car sits!! that 135 trap is flying we just need some grip now

1.4 is quite optimistic but let's say it did a doable 1.6x we would see mid 10's from it.

That 134 trap is inflated but it is what it is.

Wow, very nice. Definitely looks like there's a lot to be had in the launch too. And the meth is the only other mod besides the BMS box? Very impressive.

    Why?

I can't believe people are putting so much emphasis on a cramped 5.5 liters. It's funny.

6.3... But yeah so far soo good unless bmw steps their game up or the aftermarket does turbo upgrades for the s63 for 800-900 hp which is feasible

    What do you mean 6.3?
