Hennessey's HPE600 bolt on upgrades for the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe produce 518 wheel horsepower and 11.57 @ 123 in the 1/4 mile

Nice results here for the Hennessey HPE600 package for the Jaguar F-Type R. The package essentially consists of what you would expect. A tune, higher boost pulley for the supercharged motor, and an intercooler upgrade. Hennessey does not list the price for these pieces but you can expect the markup that comes with his name attached.

Not only do you get bolt on modifications but you get a serial-numbered dash plaque and a serial-numbered engine plaque. You are not just buying modifications with this you are buying into a brand. The appeal here is likely the same appeal to people who try to get enough points to get a Dinan badge.

Regardless, what does have some substance here is that bolt on modified Jaguar's equipped with the 5.0 liter supercharged V8 such as this F-Type R coupe will get over 500 wheel horsepower and are capable of mid 11's in the 1/4 mile. Certainly a respectable level of performance.

Hennessey claims 518 wheel horsepower which appears to be achieved on a Dynojet but there is no graph provided versus the baseline. Additionally, there is no pricing for any of this. Want 530 wheel horsepower for far less money? Get the Eurocharged tune, get a higher boost pulley, and spend what is leftover on making your own serial numbered plaques to put all over your car if you want.

    HPE600 Upgrade Includes:
    • Custom software upgrade tuning
    • Supercharger pulley upgrade
    • Intercooler cooling upgrade
    • Professional installation
    • Dyno tuning & road testing
    • Serial-numbered dash plaque
    • Serial-numbered engine plaque
    • Hennessey exterior badging
    • 3 Year / 36,000 mile limited warranty

Haha, to be honest, I saw his name, dry heaved, and stopped reading. Any publicity is good publicity.... minus full page spreads in Autoweek about how you're being sued by countless customers for fraud and theft.

I appreciate what you are doing here. But do you think I'm unaware of what goes on? Hennessey is going to learn the community has not forgotten or forgiven soon enough.
