APR Stage 3 turbo upgraded TT-RS vs. APR supercharged B7 RS4 and an HPF turbo E46 M3
APR's turbo upgrade package for the Audi TT-RS 2.5 inline-5 TFSI is very potent. The Garrett GTX3567R turbo at the heart of the upgrade is capable of producing over 600 wheel horsepower on the TT-RS. The TT-RS in the video is stated to have somewhere in the 650 all wheel horsepower range and considering the outcome of these two races there is no reason to doubt the output.
The first run is against an APR Stage III supercharged B7 RS4. The RS4 is stated to be in the low 600 wheel horsepower range. Keep in mind the 4.2 liter FSI V8 is running an Eaton TVS supercharger kit so it is no slouch. The race between the two cars is close but the TT-RS has the quicker elapsed time and also traps higher at 145.68 to 143.23 for the RS4.
The second run is against an HPF turbocharged E46 M3 with a 6-speed manual transmission. It is stated to be making over 600 wheel horsepower. The TT-RS makes fairly easy work of it running a 148.86 trap speed to the E46 M3 140.29.
Keep in mind comparing trap speeds in roll on races is difficult due to there not being a uniform starting speed. Regardless, the TT-RS with the APR Stage III kit performs impressively.

I hope Audi keeps this 2.5 inline-5 motor going. It would be nice to see in some more models especially in the USA.

On a car that's near impossible to find and when u do its way too much money to warrant spending that money on unless you plan to do this kit

I like the TT-RS, and that motor seems pretty stout. I never see too many on the road, and it's a shame. I think it's an awesome motor and a great car. I like it a lot.

I Mean, I would expect the Audi TT-RS with a GTX35r in it to do this well against heavier cars... it has the weight advantage and the ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE Advantage... especially over the HPF M3.. i can't speak on the other Audi apr s/c RS4 because i've never driven one.

the Hpf car is mine it has pro efi and e85 6766Pt turbo... that was a bad race on my behalf he got the jump on me because i was fooling around with the brake boosting and i mis-shifted 2 times... Id love to have a rematch considering later that day my fastest MPH was 155 I think I need a rematch but im not one to cry about lost races
