M4 JB4 stg 1 Vs C7 Stingray and 5.0 GT
Found this somewhere familiar... Poster says the m4 has 2 passengers
seems to pull well against c7 but Ive beaten 5.0s with more mods with stockers maxed a bit worse.. so I am not sure what to think there.09 6AT 335i Coupe M-Sport - SOLD

Maybe it's the driver but the m4 doesn't seem I take off very quick. It seems to take it a sec to really start moving

Mustang driver looked to take off a bit early but both cars are also N/A so they have instant throttle response. Multiple stingrays have trapped a bit over 120 @ 11.6-11.7 BONE stock down to tires don't under estimate them. Exhaust on the vette sounds stock so If it is modded its very minor. I have just a diablo tune on mine and from a dig to any speed its a monster for just tune only very light and torque everywhere.

This m4 belongs to my friend. He bought it off the showroom floor when his other m4 he pre ordered didn't arrive on time. He traded his bms tuned f10 m5 for it. Its the same car that raced that fbo 335i in the vid posted last month or so. I ran the 5.0 on the highway along with another friends modded Ferrari f430 and no dice for either of them lol. Not surprised the m4 pulled as hard as it did. 5.0 had a boss 302 intake manifold, a couple of bolt ons, and a good driver as well. Don't really know much about the stingray, as it is one of the 5.0 guys friends.
I am actually supposed to get a run in with the m4 now that he is tuned, but his schedule has been busy for the past couple of weekends, it seems. He is on here somewhere.2008 e92 335i

vette is definitely modded. I flashed a friends 135i auto which is bone stock and he ran one from a dig and rolls and said it was pretty much dead even, with the c7 pulling about a car length off the line cause he hooked up better. This was tune only with e50 so the m4 should pull against the c7 even stock. Jb4 would be game over

Ended up racing the jb4 stage 1 m4 last weekend. 40 roll and 60 roll. Guy had a little trouble lining up at first, but it didn't seem to make a difference. 40 roll I spun and we stayed side by side until I hooked. 60 roll...well here are the vids. computer generated to resemble mexico. If the jb4 m4 added 50% e85 (he was on 93 pump gas here) it would be a much closer race with the m4 most likely pulling ahead. For a tune only car on pump gas, it is pretty fast.

I agree. Came upon a perfect black E92 M3 in NYC the other day with a young brother in it, car looked perfect and sounded $#@!ing great... I actually prefer it to the S85 engine (and yes I owned one).
I am thinking the next DD will have to be a S/C M3 E92 once I stop losing money shorting stocks and generally fooking up
BTW I think a tuned JB4 M4 should beat almost any C7 Vette except a S/C FBO with methDriving fresh air now

According to the numbers, a stock m4 vs a stock c7 should be a drivers race, maybe favoring the m4 slightly. Considering that the jb4 adds what, maybe 50 or 60 HP? I can only assume that the c7 either was bolt on/tuned, or similar

Yes, a couple of e46 and e92 m3s. all the e46 cars havent been too impressive with supercharged kits. Im supposed to run a really fast one soon if he ever comes out lol. rematch from 2 years ago when we ran before. As far as the e92 m3s go, they were all basic kits though, nothing vt2-625+ though. Id like to run into one just for fun....although I would lose on the top end lol. I run with cars that trap 123-124mph. Im always dead even with zeels car which went 123.9mph in the quarter. Not surprising since we have the same set up lol. Many people can vouch for my car. I ran a friends maximum psi turbo e46 m3 on 100 oct and it was a pretty close race. He should be just over 600whp on that tune, but his clutch is starting to slip a little and he is a vert....so heavier.

I couldn't explain it either. I dont think he is at 480whp though. maybe 450-460? I thought I was going to lose lol. I most likely will, once he puts some e85 in and ups boost more. Keep in mind I was on e60 fuel with 100% meth map 3, 70 add...very aggressive setup......the m4 was on just pump 93. I also was solo in the run, m4 had 1 passenger extra.
problem is, this guy doesn't hold on to cars for too long. Hes already talking about getting a hellcat or c7 z06 lolLast edited by Stucks; 08-26-2014 at 07:35 AM.
