Injector Cleaner?
Hey Guys,
Has anyone tried to ultrasonic clean their injector? Or do a fuel injector cleaner through the high pressure fuel pump? I don't find anything on google or search.

Band aid fix at best.... If you're really having injector or HPFP failure, start shopping for replacement parts

injector doc ultrasonic cleans injectors. Look him up. should be injectordoc.com

FWIW, I checked with Injector Doctor, Injector RX, Advanced Marine, and Pro Flow Tech this time last year about cleaning/servicing our GDI injectors and none of them at the time were able to. Injector RX did say they were considering purchasing the testing equipment, but due to decreasing popularity of piezo injectors in Europe, many manufacturers were moving away from piezo injectors (including Bosch such as in the N55). In the end, I think they decided against the testing equipment as it'd be difficult to recoup costs.
Even though I just bit the bullet and swapped a whole bank to the higher index injectors, I'd love to know if anyone is able to service the N54 piezo injectors.

Injector doc services n54 injectors. I believe he was banned from the other forum for not paying for not becoming a vendor. I'm not 100% sure he's still even in business. I've sent 2 emails from the contact page on his site and have not received a reply. I do know he use to keep an inventory of good used and tested n54 injectors.

I ultrasonic clean my injectors, but it only really cleans the orifice.

no need to send the injectors out... just use a product every now and than for the entire fuel system.
