    2015 Mercedes-Benz MLC / ML63 AMG spy videos

What you see in the videos below is the upcoming Mercedes answer to the BMW X6. Yes, the four-door 'coupe' style SUV market is heating up. Basically, the MLC will just be an M-Class but with different styling. Essentially how BMW makes the X6 based on the X5 architecture. This means the transmission and engine choices will all carry over. It also means we will see an MLC63 AMG as spyphotos from earlier this year showed.

The MLC model in the videos below appears to be the MLC63 AMG based on the bodywork and wheels compared to the previous set of spyphotos. The sound of the exhaust also points to an M157 5.5 liter V8 under the hood. The only wildcard is the rear diffuser which does not appear to have the trademark quad tips as shown in the previous set of spyphotos.

It is not uncommon for manufacturers to try to remove elements that tell too much about the model testing. Regardless, the MLC and MLC63 AMG are shaping up well and the design proportions seem to work. The official unveiling is not far off.

I just seen this along with the W205 C63 (had what looked like CC brakes) not too far from my house. They were both filling up at a Chevron gas station.

You should have pulled in front and blocked their path while shouting questions at the test drivers. What's wrong with you?

Yeah, if I was getting paid for the pictures then I would've done that. I see MB test cars all the time. I've seen the new GLA about a month ago, the new electric B series about 2 months ago. Starting to see the W205 C class more and more. The problem is that it's not the best time to take the pictures. Might be willing to take my time and take pictures if I was getting paid. Willing to buy the pictures? Click here to enlarge

Do you accept rep points as a form of currency?

Sure, as long as I can exchange them for a Weistec turbo upgrade.

Don't quote me on this but you can. It's something like a 3 billion rep point to 1 dollar exchange rate.

So you get me those pics and I'll see what I can do about that turbo upgrade.
