From a stop the M3/M4 with the DCT and weight advantage will just beat it. I remember racing the E60 M5 in my E92 M3 so I know how that went down. The S85 top end is good though.
it won't be close, they weigh 500-900 pounds less and dct, there's just no way. s85 loves the top end tho so who knows.

485 in the m4 is good for 124+ mph at the strip.... 118mph stock seems like a good guess due to the better power band than 425 in n54s...

But I am not really sure about gearing on these cars.

I think we'll see stock cars doing 11.9's in cooler weather.

I mean it's capable of it I think we're having a misunderstanding depending on the mods it has.

There is no doubt about it being capable of 11's stock.

I'm knee deep in development so not sure when I'll have time to do at least some baseline 1/4 mile pulls. But hopefully this weekend. Click here to enlarge

I'm probably late to the party but has anyone taken the turbos off the car and actually looked at them? Who makes them and what size wheels etc? Sorry if this has already been covered.

Not yet, but I have my feelers out to all my core guys and wrecking yards, people will crash these and will crash them quickly. We will see how long its takes to get my hands on a set.

Edit: Just got off the phone with my BMW guy, for the people saying it would be great to swap the new turbos in, apart from the fact that they wont fit, they are $3k each from the dealer.. haha

Definitely make a lot more boost up top than RBs. No issues with 25psi @ 6500rpm and we haven't even started yet. For N54 guys though a retrofit is not going to be possible/practical.

I've heard Honeywell too but not 100% certain if that is what it is.

Honeywell is Garrett, Garrett is Honeywell. Same Same. Honeywell is the Garrett parent company, sometimes for whatever reason the turbos have Honeywell on them, but they are always Garrett turbos. We will know soon enough, we did get a call from BMW yesterday to inform us that Germany cannot make them fast enough for production so replacement turbos will not be available until the end of August even after they told me it would be 2-3 weeks from 2 weeks ago...Click here to enlarge
