BrenTuning 2007 W211 E63 AMG M156 V8 custom dyno results - 450 wheel horsepower

Very nice tuning results here courtesy of BrenTuning. The car in question is a 2007 W211 generation E63 AMG. This car has the naturally aspirated 6.2 liter M156 V8. The baseline with the charcoal air filters removed and airbox modifications is 415 horsepower to the wheels and 516 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.

After the custom tune horsepower rises to 450 at wheels and torque goes up to 441 lb-ft at the wheels. These numbers are an increase of 35 horses and 25 lb-ft of torque respectively. Looking at the graph gains can be seen throughout the entire curve.

The dynamometer used for the tuning is a Dynojet.
