2015 Cadillac ATS-V and CTS-V spotted testing together

You know by now that two high performance 'V' models from Cadillac are on the way. One is the supercharged CTS-V and the other is the twin turbo ATS-V. The ATS is the smaller of the two and will likely make use of the same turbocharged V6 that the CTS V-Sport model uses tuned to somewhere in the 420+ horsepower range.

The CTS-V will target the new F10 M5 (which it was spotted testing with) and it is expected to get a variant of the LT4 supercharged 6.2 liter V8 which will make its debut in the 2015 Corvette Z06. It will be rear wheel drive and hopefully make use of the new 8L90 8-speed automatic that is said to shift faster than the Porsche PDK.

These are two very exciting enthusiast models from Cadillac. It is nice to see Cadillac targeting both the M3 and M5 here along with competition from AMG. The Americans are coming and they are bringing the heat!
