    I'd love the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 motor in it but I'd happily settle for a Cayman with the 991 GT3 engine. It's actually realistic.

    At least he admits it. So I think we pretty much know this will be a turbo four-cylinder then. That is how they will get around the Cayman performing the same or better than the 911. They just will not give it the same engine

    Regardless, a 991 GT3 swap should still be feasible on the flat-6 Caymans...

    I'm fine with a turbo four... it suits high altitude driving better anyway. I just hope we're able to crack these new ECUs to allow for some tuning.
