Godzilla vs. All-American (GT-R vs. Z/28)
I was shocked. VERY impressive track car, and much better acceleration numbers than we have seen in the past.
An incredible car, and an incredible feat considering the price/brand/car - it really is something GM should be proud of for a change. Imagine it with a DSG.
Cheers.

It's an incredible performing car for the dollar; to beat a GT-R on a track like that is pretty amazing to say the least.
Considering the car's intention - they did a damn good job. Factor styling/amenities/etc. in? Yeah, whole different game.
Considering the initial reports on the car's acceleration (terrible numbers), I really wasn't expecting that win.

Another major factor no one seems to look at, this car is on r comps and the gtr is not.

Plenty of Camaros out here where I live... one of the fugliest cars I have ever seen from any angle
and good review, NOT.........where he prefers the Z28 brakes but they are 3 feet longer stopping 60-0 than the heavy assed GTRDriving fresh air now

The braking is really a measure of tire traction too, you'd think the R-comps would make it blow away the GTR. I love chevrolet, but look at the ring times of the two cars to realize that they aren't even in the same ballpark. The GTR is far and away a better car, but for its price it should be.
