RB 135i VS Boosted C6
A good friend of mine picked up a pretty nasty C6 over the winter!
I knew I was bringing a knife to a bomb fight but figured there was no shame in giving it hell.
My mods: In sig - Guessing 510-520whp since last dyno
His Mods: 620whp on same dyno as my car - D1 Supercharger, Headers, Exhaust, 2 Step, intake, tune, Drag radials, & skinnies
The races:
We had another highway pull from 50-160 (botched video) and he was out about 5 cars and still walking away... 3rd gear I am neck and neck but as soon as I shift to 4th he is out!
For my car, I have something odd going on as I was trapping 100mph in the 1/8 at the end of last year. But my 1/4 traps have improved and actually hit 128 on one pass.

520 wheel horsepower BMW E82 135i vs 620 wheel horsepower D1 Procharged C6 Corvette from a roll and on the dragstrip
Great video here comparing an E82 135i with modified OEM turbochargers on Ethanol with meth injection against a supercharged C6 Corvette with a D1 headunit from Procharger. The 135i makes roughly 520 wheel horsepower. The Corvette has the power advantage by roughly 100 horsepower and curb weight is similar between the two. On paper this matchup heavily favors the Corvette and although it is the quicker and faster car the difference is not as large as the specs might have one think.
The highway pull shows the Corvette taking the 135i up top as it should. However, we do not get to see just how large the difference is up top due to the 135i having to let off. That said, the C6 is clearly pulling up top and would have continued to do so.
On the dragstrip the Corvette also wins but the 135i actually hangs in very well. The 135i owner posted a recent timeslip and managed an 11.1 @ 127 in the 1/4. Against the boosted C6 head to head here he runs 11.2 @ 127 to the C6 10.9 @ 129. The difference amounts to 3/10's in elapsed time and 2 miles per hour of trap speed. On paper it should be larger than that but in practice the 135i hangs in quite well. On the highway with the centrifugal Procharger the difference will be greater between the two than it is on the dragstrip.
For those trying to make the front page take note, this is how you do it. Filming with a quality camera and not through a potato or Iphone is a good start.

Things are not looking good for me against this C6. He is already talking about a nasty cam and additional mods...
Very happy "hanging" with this car though! I botched an additional video where we ran from about 50-160. You could clearly see at about 100-120 is where his gearing and power just take over.
