APR TVS1740 Stage III Audi S5 4.2 lter FSI V8 supercharger kit dyno and speedometer acceleration video

APR released their Eaton TVS1740 based Stage III supercharger system for the B8 Audi S5 last month. They managed to hit an impressive 550 wheel horsepower on 100 octane race gas and 11.1 @ 126 in the 1/4 mile with a 6-speed manual car. APR posted a new video showing the car with the supercharger on their dyno posting crank figures of 589 horsepower on 93 octane and 635 horsepower on 100 octane.

Yes, huge gains over the stock car. Additionally, there is a speedometer video that gives an idea of the acceleration. The torque gain is immediately apparent especially at the lower speeds and it is impressive to the motor approaching 8k on the tach.

Clearly a very well designed and tuned supercharger kit for the platform.

If only it wasn't so expensive...do they make a similar kit for the RS 5? Can't remember. Now that would be a nasty car....

The RS5 would be way way better with this but it isn't ready yet. I don't even know if they are working on it but they will likely do it sometime soon.

Yes they are producing it for the RS5 as well last I heard.
