N54 camshaft ledges torque specs please.

    Hello,

Just received some maintenance parts for some issues I have been having-

Updated intake + exhaust camshaft housing
    Updated camshaft ledge vanos seals
Latest fuel injectors + install kit .

My question, what are the torque specs of the camshaft housing bolts and sequence ?

Also need torque specs for camshaft timing gears.

Is any loctite used on any of these bols

Would really appreciate any replies....Click here to enlarge

    Thank you Alex.

I have a toque spec sheet but it just does not seem right . For the camshaft ledges/ bearing strip = 8nm + 60degrees seems very loose....

    Yes I have them.

    Unsure about renting them.
REALLY unsure about renting them to a member with 4 posts.

As in, You'd have to give me the cost+ on the tool, and when it comes back in perfect shape you'd get a partial refund.

That would be amazing if you were ok to rent them to me. Im not a shop so the likely hood of having to do this job again is very unlikely. I was gonna buy the N54 camshaft timing kit tools on ebay but its 560$ to use once, I figured I would see if theres any good samaritans ( hint, hint Click here to enlargeClick here to enlarge) that would rent the tools first.

I totally understand about the 4 post thing, I have spent much more time in the porsche forums, I could give you my ebay user name, same ebay user name since 2003 with 100% positive feed back.

Worst case, I buy the tools on ebay and my friend that has a shop with the N52 timing tools would buy the N54 tools off me after I was done, at a greatly discounted price obviously..... Click here to enlarge

    Alex,

if you can, let me know what you decide, Koch tools is willing to sell the pieces I need to complete my n52 kit to be able to work on N54, I just wanted to follow up with you to see what you decided. If you dont want to rent out the tool, no problem.
