Methanol Mixtures
What's going on everybody?
I have a question regarding different methanol mixtures. I'm currently stationed in Germany and it's damn near impossible to order anything, unless you own a business, liquid based that comes from sates side i.e Boost Juice, M1 race fuel, etc. and my main supplier, for methanol, packed up and left. Now my only source for methanol is Xtreme Blue wind shield wiper fluid, which is only about a ~30/70 meth to water ratio. My question is, what other sources could I use to raise the methanol levels? As of now, the only thing I know that can increase the level is Heet 28201 Gas-Line Antifreeze and Water Remover, but the down fall to that is that it's a seasonal item, in which I just bought the last 3 bottles, so I wont be seeing that again no time soon. Are there any other alternatives that I could use? Just to add before anyone says anything about e85, the closes station is 45 minutes away.E92 Chameleon 335I/ VTT Stg 2/ EOS manifold w PI/ JB4 G5 w/ BB Flash/ BMS DCI/ BMS Cowls/ Fuel it stg 2 lpfp/ MMP Inlets and outlets/ ER CP w/ Synaspe BOV/ M2 Exhaust/VRSF DP/ ETS FMIC/ BMS OCC/ BMS Meth Kit CMGS

Start boiling the windshield washer mix. The water will boil off first leaving the methanol. Ftw
Edit. Never mind.. meth will boil first...- Proven Power Tampa built 6466 ST -

Nobody in Germany can supply you with something like VP Racing fuels M1 ?
I just buy that stuff and cut it with the blue -40C windshield washer fluid to give me somewhere between 50-70% methanol content.f82 M4

This wont work :-(
I thought it sounded epic! They're distillin' methanol out thur, hide 'yo kids, hide 'yo wife...
Best idea is the denatured alcohol. Or just get a gas can and stock up on E85, I do that. I put a HEAVY mix in when I'm at the pump, fill 2 5 gallon cans, and fill up with straight 93 when I get back. That's 3 full tanks of gas worth of E85 mix.

The distilling part isn't that difficult just a little expensive for what you get out of it. A buddy uses one of those nuwave burner that you can set the exact temp, stainless pot, bucket that a copper coil sits in along with cold water/ice and a catch bucket for the alcohol. The denatured alcohol sounds like a cheaper route.
