CLS63 vs E63 4matic
This is a drag race between an M157 CLS63 with an ECU tune from PP-Performance and a stock E63 S 4matic
Obviously the CLS63 is more powerful as indicated from the trap speed, but it is quite amazing how the E63 elapses a quicker time

Trap speed vs elapsed time in the 1/4 mile illustrated by M157 AMG's, one rear wheel drive and the other all wheel drive
By now you are well aware that Mercedes offers the 4Matic all wheel drive system for the facelifted CLS63 and E63 AMG models. So what happens when you put the pre-facelift rear wheel drive 63 AMG model up against the facelifted 4Matic all wheel drive model on the dragstrip? Even a casual automotive enthusiast would likely guess that the result would have the all wheel drive car showing the quicker ET (elapsed time) whereas the rear wheel drive car would have the higher trap speed.
That is usually the case although by no means an automotive law. It is what happens in the drag race below though and that is partially due to both cars wearing street rubber. Soft drag rubber is pretty much a necessity for a high torque rear wheel drive vehicle to get good traction off the line at the strip.
Now, this is not exactly apples to apples as the C218 CLS63 has an ECU tune. The W212 E63 AMG S is stock and an ECU tune makes a huge difference in power and torque. Combine an output increase as a result of ECU tuning for the CLS63 along with its roughly 200 pound lighter weight and it is no surprise it traps 128.72 miles per hour to the 4Matic E63 117.83.
A difference of almost 11 miles per hour is huge and using the old rule of thumb of 1 mile per hour being equal to 10 wheel horsepower without even seeing the dyno numbers of the two cars we know the CLS63 is putting out roughly 100 more horsepower at the wheels. A trap speed is often as good as a dynograph.
Even though the CLS63 is lighter and more powerful it still takes longer to cross the 1/4 mile mark at 12.190 seconds. The stock E63 AMS S 4Matic does it quicker with an 11.863.
It should be clear how these two important parts of a 1/4 mile run each have their own particular variables yet they relate to each other. It still is amazing how many people make basic errors when referring to which car is faster (trap speed) or quicker (elapsed time) when talking about a slip and the variables that influence the result.
This is about as simple and clear of an educational 1/4 mile run in relation to illustrating time and speed as there can be.

Just want to give an explanation about the speed different in speed trap.
First PP's E was not doing full throttle for a ( Reason )
In this event day i mean.
This car is tuned it has a catless down pipe tune.
PP,s E did a 11 flat @ speed of 210~212 km not sure exactly & unfortunately i can't find a video of the car.
*The reason that PP,s didn't go full throttle on this day pirtclery that there was an direct race or a challenge comes from GAD motors.

I didn't want to go into more details because that day there was a indirect challenge come from Gad motors. So performance didn't want to show the exact record of the E63, But the problem is i tried to find the video of the same E63 that run 11 flat but i couldn't find it
And btw @Sticky i was surprise in one thing when i was in yas drag race that day a car came from GAD motors C63 black series with M157 engine which has heavy duty internals or high performance internal pistons+ con rods and they did something no one did it to increase the rpm up to 7000 x rpm and its upgraded turbo's which crank up to 850HP. The vehicle is modified to 4matic system plus an upgraded transmission.
I was surprise that this vehicle ran 10.7 at yas drag and i missed to record a video for the vehicle run doing the 10.7 and how come its compared from pp-performance SL63 upgraded turbo doing a decent 10.6 and the C63 Black Series cost. 180,250 EUR comparing with a pp-performance cost will not be close to that cost .
Here is the link for more details.

Well lets put it this way.
Regardless of what PP has done, GAD has done something no other tuner has and so far or can do.
Transferring and making the car run with a different engine not designed for the car, add a 4 wheel drive system, beef up the trans, raise rpm, add new turbos as well and make it all work with no issues (Ecu, TCU and electronics).
No one has done that, and you have to give both credit and respect to what they have accomplished.
I don't care much for tuner wars as its usually always the owners who get hurt in the end and becoming puppets and cheerleaders for their tuners

Here's time slip stock 2014 E63 S model 4matic
With the right driver & conditions on stock 2014 E63 S Model 4matic it can do 1/4 mile avg. ~11.75@121mph & best I've seen it's 11.676@121.43mph
Also, once tuned AMG E63 4matic with few upgrades it can do as good as the AMG63 biturbo RWD with similar upgrades.
Here's a dyno 2014 E63 4matic w/few upgrades without the pending air induction upgrade

My dear I'm showing the respect for both of pp-performance and GAD Motors but if we compare their work yes GAD did something special and no one did it before and i note that,
But if i have a 180.000EURO i will not throw this amount to see a 10.7 and trap speed 217 or 219 I'm not really sure !
My point is the c63 got 10.5 at yas with weistec supercharged by @serix63 and the cost for this c63 is much less than 180.000EURO!! And GAD also have the c63 full burabus bullit and also the car recorded 10.5 and the car with 900+ HP !
So both of the c63 bullit and the c63 black serious with m157 engine got normal numbers that we can run it with a supercharged so why is all that if they will run 10.7 and 10.5 !
I'm sorry but for me its a money waste cuz we didn't see any significant records. If am paying this amount of money my record will defiantly be in the 9's at least.
Hey...
