Just hit the nitrous in my 135i!

I have a 09 auto 135i. Mods- hpf fmic, bms intake, bms meth, jb4 g5iso with bb flash and running e85 60% with inline fuel pump. The kit is a NX wet kit with 35 shot to start. Let me tell u. It is freaking fast!! I'm thinking tens in the 1/4. If anyone is looking to up the horsepower on stock turbos this is the way to go. I just did some runs @ 16psi and the 35 shot with 80%meth and it's awesome. I am going to up the nitrous because the fp and afr are perfect. More to come. I have datalogs as well.

That torque surge tends to mess with the butt dyno.

I posted on the n54tech also but I would slowly increase the shot. Nitrous on this platform has really only been successful for those that keep the shot sizes small longterm. Also I would do a trunk mount meth kit, the conversion is fairly cheap and the flow issues on the under hood kits are famous. I had one at one point also and made the switch when I got the nitrous installed.

I remember running across some recomendations to run the nitrous nozzle before the methanol nozzle because the nitrous would cause the water to freeze. Might be something that you want to look into it, or switch to 100% meth to be on the safe side, but i'm not sure the BMS meth kit can handle that concentration long term.

@Terry@BMS Can your meth kit handle straight meth long term?

Just get a trunk kit... Terrys kit can handle it sure, its a solenoid and a pump... What you are worrying about is seals in the tank, the oem lines, etc...

There is no reason anyone serious about their car should EVER have a WW kit for so many different reasons. Safety being number 1 though... Our cruddy WW tanks caps can pop off going over a bump and cause a massive fire... Just put a tank in the trunk, run a line next to fuel line, make a bracket and mount solenoid somewhere safe and call it a day!!!

I wonder what a small small nozzle like .12 jet would do if used from third gear on on car with RBs for track days... prob get the car to 130mph... tq would be dangerous on drivetrain though.

How did you get the meth kit to integrate? Did you do it using the JB4?

I would love to have nitrous...purely just to say that I own a car that runs it Click here to enlarge. That and the kick up the backside when you turn it on.
