    Transmission swap

    I have an 07 10/06 build trans that is going out. I found a 2011 10/10 build auto trans with 18k miles. Will this transmission be plug and play and just require coding?

    Yes it is an auto also one to many mid 11 second 1/4 mile runs trans is toast, 3rd gear has real bad slipping issues.

    I hope so I bought it for $1025 thinking great deal. Does the n55 and N54 engines use the same auto transmission?

    You got me. I don't know. Considering BMW's money saving measures I'd lean toward yes. Realoem.com should solve this quickly.
