Resetting Adaptations to correct fuel trims

    Hey Guys,

I'm having a hard time with INPA Loader to reset adaptations on my 335i.

A bunch of the screens are in german so if you guys can tell me which keys you hit to get this done that would be a big help.

I was able to read and delete codes but I did not see where I can erase ALL adaptations.

    Thanks!

Hi. Grab one of the English translated versions? Search for vasillalov.

I admit I haven't tried the reset but I have seen them. You can input the upgraded .IPO files and so on once the above gives you the basic menu structure

I read somewhere that this worked for another guy:

After you have selected your engine, its under ERROR MEMORY (F4) and then ERASING ADAPTATION (F7)...

Not for my car though Click here to enlarge

Here.... Shift F8 to get E90

    Pick engine, msd80

Then f8 "delete adaptions value selective"

F1 take you into the various adaptions you can delete for idle, knock, throttle, etc.
F2 instead has cylinder sync, rough running, lamda, bank 1 and 2, and injectors.

That second page on f2 has F6 = all adaptions in bold

P.s. while I am there. Instead of going into F8 delete adaptions. If instead you go to F5 status analog/digital you can read the current adaption levels , obd readiness, and so on.

I have a question. Does anyone know what on earth is the "Neural Network". Has Neo from matrix hacked my car?

I reset all the adaptations on that page..

Any other steps that I should have done after the reset???

Car started but ran VERY rough. None of the STFT or LTFT were working and the O2's were stuck at 14.7.. Even in boost..

SO I pulled over, check codes (0 codes) then restarted the car and no change.... I then reflashed my map and car started and O2's were working and fuel trims back in action.

Same thing happened when I reset all adaptions. I started the car and it felt like it was revving itself. I then reflashed my Cobb map and I was good to go.
