APR Stage I Tuned Audi RS7 goes 10.6@129 in the 1/4 mile on pump gas and street tires
Mid 10's on pump gas with the factory wheels and tires? Yep. That is what is possible with the new Audi RS7 4.0 TFSI with just an ECU tune. APR took their tuned RS7 to the strip on 93 octane pump gas with the factory tires and factory 21 inch wheels and managed a very impressive 10.690 @ 129.32 miles per hour. They achieved this in 60 degree weather with a density altitude of 353 feet meaning pretty good atmospheric conditions for a run.
Now keep in mind this is a pump gas result. It is going to be interesting to see what a tune only car does with a 100+ octane race gas file. It looks like it is within reason for the car with race gas and bolt ons to break into the 9's. It's incredible we are talking about this kind of acceleration from a heavy luxury sedan. German automotive performance with the new turbo generation is quite simply awesome.

and i'm sold. 10.6 on 93 pump gas! That's mclaren mp4-12c and Aventador area and pretty much destroys everything else on the damn road!
Now the question is does the RS7 Feel like you're getting hit in the head with a shovel on every shift? Like it does with the aventador?

I have to say, it's amazing how ahead you are on some of this stuff, APR just only posted the video of this run 2/21.
