Australian ROM update for anyone flashing

Hi guys

With DME flashing becoming more popular I decided to look into it for my vehicle. When Vishnu released their ROMs they didn't originally cover my Australian ROM of 0I860S so I was waiting for them to release a latter version, which they then did.

However, in the meantime I have upgraded my ROM to be 0I8A0S. This is the update version of my previous ROM and is also one of the main ones supported by the US Venders, since it is extremely common over there.

I haven't flash tuned my DME yet, but I did do a Read, Validate the File, and then load up Vishnu's 0I8A0S XDF and patched my updated BIN. I then followed the instructions to make sure it worked, and the tables definitely changed and made sense.

Even though the latest hurdle has been overcome and Vishnu support my old ROM, going forward I would still prefer to have the update.

@kabnine, call me crazy, but i have no idea what you are trying to accomplish. Do you need help flashing the patched I8AOS bin file?

Ok, you are crazy.

No I was just confirming for other people with my old DME Firmware, that by upgrading you can use the XDFs and other files for the new ROM. Australia is a small market (and for some reason the Stealerships aren't updating our DME Firmware to the ones you guys have) so development for things that are unique'ish to us often take months longer or not at all. By updating my DME (I have done it already) I can now use the mainstream US files etc for flashing. It also means that I have access to a ton more flash tunes, since the US is such a huge market and many of you share your Tunes. There is exactly one BIN for my old Firmware uploaded to this site. It is a stock BIN uploaded by me.
