AEM HD water/methanol injection kit discontinued?

Thought id share, i ordered it to set up as a standalone meth kit with 5gal tank and was informed its out of stock.

Turns out its discontinued and AEM has a new kit due to be released the end of this month that will cost more and supposedly is a much better set up. I have no details other than they said AEM would have a press release on this soon.

Good news is since i ordered b4 they said this, ill get the upgraded kit for the same price i paid. I guess patience will pay off. I really need le meth lol

Thanks for the update. The AEM was decent. I moved from it to Snow though.

Anyone know the failure rate of the kit they are discontinuing?

I hope the AEM flow sensor I ordered is still available. Apparently CM stopped using it a couple of years ago, so I had to order it from AEM (through Jegs). No calls or emails about my order yet, so hopefully all is well.

i ordered my kit with 5gal tank around 9/18 or so. It was attempted delivery monday but my gf was at work. She signed the paper, left a copy of my drivers license and i put a note in fedex account to leave it by the door the next day.

The next day they did not leave it.

I called and talked to fedex and they said it would be held for pickup today by my gf. Today i woke up and checked online and it said it was being sent back to the shipper in AZ. I called fedex and they said they couldnt stop it.

I called the shipper and they said they didnt know anything about that and they are calling fedex now...

What a F'N joke..

Yuck. That's the worst. I wish you could just opt out of that. Nothing worse than coming home to that sticky note on your door.

When I got my Vargas turbos, I knew I wouldn't be home so I had them re-routed to a local FedEx store so I could pick them up at my leisure.

yeah i did that too. And it was supposed to be available for pick up today. But then it got "sent" back...

Now they finally half ass straightened it out.. its being held for pickup but only I can sign for it... Im in alaska at work.

I contacted the shipper and they are trying to work with fedex to waive the signature..
