When car is at "normal operating temps" and must have more than 1500 (some 1300) miles on the odometer
- Hold Brake firmly
- Put car into M1 driving mode
- One short press of the TC button
- Press Sport Button on
- Floor gas peddle quickly
Car will rev to 5k RPMs, and then let go of the brake to launch the car. However, this is not recommended if the car has an aftermarket tune. Its ideal only for the stock tune. You would probably need a major suspension upgrade and DRs. You also have a higher risk of eminently breaking something. There is also no feathering control, only the system TC that uses the rear brakes to regulate traction.
The other LC method is to launch it between 2k - 2.5k RPMs. Any tune will work with this but you will need super sticky DRs and possible suspension upgrade + LSD recommended
- Hold Brake firmly
- Put car into MS driving mode
- Long press the TC button till DCS is turn off
- Press Sport Button on
- Floor gas peddle quickly and then immediately release brake
If the brake is held more than 1 second after the gas peddle is floored the launch could fail and or results in over heating the DCT leading to slippage. This is more a rookie method, and will need some serious practice to be able to coordinate the launch and then being able to feather for traction if your on street tires.
Of course all the DCT 335is in the 11s do not use any of these methods. All methods used by those guys are derived from my method of LC

no one said you need to come out of the hole WOT... modulate the throttle with some Drag Radials and you wont break anything... mash and go is not the way to do things.. of coarse if you stayed WOT outta the whole youll spin but if you modulate youll come out in boost and hard enough to get going and quickly get to 2nd gear and be on your way09 6AT 335i Coupe M-Sport - SOLD
