    Defiv lock down removal... Ideas?!

    Started to part my car and looking at things to keep and things to sell the Lockdown kit i want to keep because its 135i compatible... but how the F am i suppose to remove the front two bushings Click here to enlarge

    Any ideas would be appreciated!

    It's a two piece metal bushing, press fit with .001" tolerance.

    Flat head and hammer, got the flat head wedged under the lip and hammerd for like 10 mins straight. did it from the bottom, right and left sides(30 mins total)and so it pushes out evenly. my hand was numb lol. it finally popped off, then used the back of the flat head and hammered away inside for the other half then moved to the other bushing. other one was a pain because gas tank in the way but got it out. spent 3 days trying lol

    Holy $#@!. I hope I never have to remove mine :p
