Weistec releases 1000+ horsepower capable axles for the M157 equipped W212 E63 AMG and C218 CLS63 AMG

Tuners are pushing a lot of power out of the twin turbo M157 AMG V8. When launching AMG cars equipped with this motor on the strip all that torque has to go somewhere and it can overwhelm the stock driveline namely the OEM axles when some sticky rubber is used. Weistec fortunately has W212 E63 AMG and C218 CLS63 AMG owners covered with their upgraded axles which are capable of handling over 1000+ horsepower and repeated drag strip launches.

Let's assume one has the Weistec upgraded turbo kit for their E63/CLS63 AMG and wants to take that car to the drag strip. These axles should certainly be on the car to prevent a situation which could result in the car being towed home and a ruined day at the track.

    Pricing is $1999.95

Stenghtening the driveline components is really the good approach when it comes to torque monsters like modded M157's... One more time Weistec is doing the right thing. No many tuners are taking care about Halfshafts...

What about the driveshaft ? is it strong enough ? I know some companies build CF shafts... I wonder if that can be the ultimate solution for 1000NM+ cars...
