2004 330Ci - Mystic Blue 6sp - CLEAN!
This is a one owner 2004 BMW 330Ci (VIN: WBABD53414PD95957) with about 128,000 miles. Price is $11,000. Clean car fax, will provide upon request. It came with a 6 speed manual transmission, moon roof, xenon lights, and sport package. The exterior has been upgraded to the Performance Package aero kit (M Technik II), M3 lip spoiler, M3 side mirrors, and ///M Clubsport splitters. Basically this car has addressed every shortcoming and should be a maintenance free car for the next 22k miles except for fluid changes and probably another set of tires in 20k miles. This car will make a reliable and fun daily driver or a great platform for some forced induction (engine has been strengthened already) while being economical (21city/30highway). I've gotten as much as 500 miles on a tank of fuel (16.7 gal).
It has been extremely well maintained throughout its life. The paint and body are in excellent shape. All recalls were done to include the rear subframe reinforcement, ignition coils, and door seals. Maintenance included annual gearbox, diff, coolant, and p/s fluid changes. Oil changed every 5k miles. Cooling system overhauled every 60k miles. Inspection is current and good until May 2013. The engine block was recently rebuilt due to loss of oil pressure. And the transmission was replaced at 115,000 miles due to a bad input shaft/bellhousing. The diff has been upgraded to a 3.38 that now has 90,000 miles on it. This 3.38 received regular diff oil changes from the previous owner. The only issue with the car is one key will not remotely lock and unlock (needs a new battery). Everything else works flawlessly.
Recent Work (other than whats already mentioned) within 10k miles/1 yr: New front sway bar links, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, tie rods, alternator, fuel pump, replaced spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel evap switch, front O2 sensors, water pump pulley, mass air sensor, idle control valve, belt tensioner, valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, rear wheel bearings, expansion tank, water pump, and fuel filter. A/C was recharged during the engine rebuild. Just installed brand new rotors and pads and will be aligned tomorrow (3/8/13)
Upgrades:
Built M54B30 engine (balanced crankshaft, carillo connecting rods, ARP head studs, timecerted cam cap bolts)
Active Autowerke Headers with Magnaflow exhaust with V-Band clamps (I have OEM exhaust manifolds)
3.38 rear differential
Besian VANOS seal upgrade
UUC Lightweight flywheel with E36 M3 clutch conversion
UUC Short shifter with double shear selector rod
UUC Swaybars
Powerflex control arm bushings
Aluminum ///M ebrake handle
OEM M3 rear trailing arm bushings with Vorshlag limiters
Matte Black Apex ARC 8 17" wheels with 255/40R17 Hankook RS3 tires (75% tread remaining)
75mm stud conversion
Predator Chromium Angel Eyes
AC Schnitzer Mtech Diffuser
Gray M3 seats
Mystic Blue interior trim
BMW "///M Clubsport" door sills
Gray alcantara headliner and A/B/C pillars
Pioneer head unit
DLS Iridium U6i 6" component set (mid is custom mounted against the door and the tweeter is mounted in the a pillar)
US Amps 800 watt amp
The AA headers have deleted the OEM cats so the car will throw an SES light for no cats. For whomever buys the car, I can either:
a) Install performance software that turns off the rear O2 sensors.
or
b) Install the OEM exhaust manifolds.
Next...Here is a list of supporting parts and spares I will include as long as I haven't sold them...
Dell laptop with Autoenginuity (I use it for clearing codes) and INPA (for clearing adaptations)
Parts list:
2 spark plugs
4 ignition coils
hydraulic tensioner arm
Mystic Blue clubsport splitters (1 pr + 1 driver's side)
Original leatherette rear seats
pr front brake pads
2 brake pad sensors
L/S front grill
Used precat OEM O2 sensor (has about 15k miles on it)
Fuel pressure check valve
OEM xenon bulbs (thought they were getting dim so I replaced them...still work fine...my level sensor was broken which has been replaced)
Powerflex FCABs installed in housing (missing one insert...shouldn't cost more than $80 to replace)
Meyle HD front control arms (definitely needs 1 ball joint...might need some more. Cost $35 ea ball joint + labor to press out/in).

I tossed all of the useless other crap because this was taking up the entire glove box. It still has the important thing...the owner's manual.
It even has a "you might get out of jail free sticker" from the Sheriff's Association...FREE! A $1,000 value! (kidding)

For everyone's SA...the A/C has not been recharged. Pretty sure the shop just forgot. I never turned it on until Sunday. Nonetheless, I will be taking it to Terry Sayther in Austin to get recharged. And...one of the crush washers on the VANOS oil line is slightly leaking. Thankfully (for me) its the VANOS end and not the oil filter housing end! Yay!
Need to put 200 more miles on it and then it will receive a break in oil change with Redline 10w-40 and the gearbox oil will be changed with Redline D4ATF and 75w-90NS.
Contrary to the pics it has the ZHP shifter and OEM pleather shift boot which is in excellent shape.
