-NO FLY ZONE II- 1/2 mile roll race event 5/4/13

-NO FLY ZONE- returns to Minter Field for another 1/2 Mile roll race event. We have gotten great feedback from our first NO FLY ZONE, and we hope to make our second event even better with new ideas. Our first event sold out, so this is a chance for those that missed out, as well as returning enthusiasts, to get out there and have fun before it starts to get too hot!

This will be another all day event, with 2 of the airports 3 runways closed down for our use. RACE runway is 4900 X 100 ft, utilizing the adjacent connecting taxi-way for the return trip, to ensure only one-way traffic on the runway. PARKING runway area is 2900 X 275 ft of usable tarmac, with plenty of room for all vehicles, toy haulers, sponsors and vendors, as well as event equipment.

This event is a private event, not open to the general public for spectating, but anyone is a welcome to register. Each registered car is allowed 3 crew members to accompany them. Sponsors will be allotted more crew based on need.
