      30FF after valve cover gasket replacement

      I picked up my car at the end of the day on Friday after having my VCG replaced and on the drive home I got a reduced power light and the Cobb showed a 30FF code. I obviously have a boost leak and have checked the charge pipe and diverted valve connections and everything looks good. Can anyone steer me in the right direction as to what they may have not connected properly?

      Did some more homework and blew into the vacuum line and heard some air escaping near the passenger side of the car. It turned out to be a broken nipple on one of my vacuum canisters.

      I would bring it up with the shop that installed your VCG and see if they will admit to breaking it..

      I have contacted my indy and there is no doubt in my mind that it happened at the shop. I called and emailed within minutes of picking my car up so I'm sure they will do the right thing and replace.

      those brake very easily. my shop also broke it and i had 0 boost. they fixed it for free
