RENNtech DCT 335is Breaks 11s ~ 11.95 @ 114.66
I showed up early at PBIR as the second street car in line
. Did couple of runs before the track got swamped to feel out the track and to make throttle adjustments to avoid any possible wheel hop
I ran the car back to back 6 times with best ET of 12.1 @ 115 mph before a complete rest . During these runs I was testing "sport on" vs "sport off". Sport off cost me .5 of second on the ET resulting in a 12.6 @ 113 mph
So now the track gets insanely packed. It got soo packed now I was forced to let the car rest for almost an hour from its back to back runs
Almost an hour later after the muscle bound guerilla cars are finished pounding on the track it was our turn. I did a little burn out with LC to see how good I am hooking to determine how much throttle to engage to avoid spining or wheel hop
The lights start to fall, I rev the RPMs to almost 3k, released the break, applied throttle and my head was back in the seat. Car did a little booty left to right dance in the rear in 1st and 2nd gears and finished in 5th gear
In my mind I am like "I bet its another damn 12.0", low and behold I saw 11s and thought it was the other car and was like wtf 13s ? Then looked again oh oh oh oh SH*T! Sorry folks no vids this round unless one sneaks up on youtube.
First time breaking 11s on the RENNtech tune. To add I have been on a diet losing weight also. I lost like 20 lbs in two weeks. Was 268 lbs and now 248 lbs as of today. This is the amount of gas I had in the car during the run
- Octane: 96 (93 mixed)
- Track Elevation: 21 feet
- Humidity: 84%
- DA: 104 Feet
Right after this I didnt want to get greedy so I just left the track for another day

Congrats! I remember my first time running 11s with a 335. It was a great feeling. Quit now before you spend a lot more money!
For the old timers, anyone remember what a JB2 w/ hot pill and R switch was? lol
